As new still sealed in packs, 3 sets available £12.90 per set including postage. I have been trying various brands of strings on a number of basses, whilst these are very nice I'm going to Dunlop's for my fretted Warwick. To my ears these seem similar to Rotosounds, maybe not quite as 'zingy' initially.

This one a good example of one of the first early runs of the Geddy Lee Jazz, before they were part of the artist line. These are pretty rare now. Seen them sell for silly money. These have the limited edition neck plate and real blocks. (And maybe an even thinner neck, to replicate Geddy’s original 70’s jazz he shaved down). The neck is impossibly thin. sounds like a 70s jazz. A very different flavour due to the pickup placement. Cuts through a mix more. A more obnoxious jazz sound. Good for maybe things! Upgrades: CTS Pots Switchcraft jack USA control knobs Dimarzio Ultra jazz Noiseless Hipshot Tuners *optional John East pre amp j retro Was fitted before but removed and converted to passive… cavity was too small so battery box has been routed with a door. If you’re interested in the East Pre let me know and we can work something out. It’s not been used in a long time so not sure how it’s doing… overall really nice shape for a 25 year old. I’ll try and get a weight later on bathroom scales won’t be accurate but a good idea…. But it’s not heavy. Postage is possible Comes with a 80s 90s era fender case.

It has been a consideration at various times in my life; it was my sole income for 4 years of my later life when I went to university as a mature student but I'm lucky that at this point in my life I am playing music for 'me'!

Nothing much else to do at the moment, my friend. Here is the complete bass part for 'Somewhere' from that Grusin album. https://bilbosbassbites.co.uk/somewhere-dave-grusin/

So true Len. When I arrive at a gig my mindset is, what can I do to make this gig fun for my bandmates. Not argue over the set list, lighting, monitor mix, weather , how loud someone is, ect... Daryl

I have 2 Orange 112 cabs and want to use my Warwick Gnome to power them. It only has one jack output on it. Can I connect that to one of them and then daisy chain to the other one? Sorry for the naivety, I've never done this before!!

Unfortunately that's not an option for me. I need the money. And for me I'm not sure it's a gain. It's money to survive and pay bills. Daryl

No need, he sounds like a good one so he'll move to another company soon

That's the one where a Terminator I personator chases individual members? I'd like that one!

Indeed. Tried all sorts over the years and I reached the conclusion that the best system is useless if bandmates are not using it consistently, and the simplest methods work if bandmates care just a tiny bit. Currently using Band Mule for availability, gigs confirmed, details etc. I used Google calendar for years quite nicely (we made a band account as well as having our own personal ones) but current bunch just couldn't make that work

I would get a second opinion first -
Saw a Sire Vintage V7 five string on Ebay newly listed this morning. This evening it's now in my living room.I've done it yet again-he was a guitarist who bought it two weeks ago and when he does play bass just wants a passive 4 string P bass,he REALLY priced it to sell quickly. So in short he had zero problems selling his 5 string bass.

Too many musicians get this wrong, that is 100% the deal 👍

I play music because I love playing music. I hope that never changes 👍

Yep, playing music with others to receptive audiences is what it is about for me! I hated the Covid period because I couldn't create music (even covers) with others. I've also stopped doing gigs where it is 'paid rehearsals', I'm less/not bothered about financial gain as I am to how much I've enjoyed the gig/reception.
