Lots of great players already listed but I'd also recommend checking out Evan Marien Moto Fukushima Mononeon -
Yep. And all the patches.

Change them. Most P2s fit and EMG ExW series sound good.

I believe it's the serial number having seen several over the years with a P. and always a different number on the plate (and the left-handed version had LH after the digits). Highest number I recall was P.019.

TONIGHT! (Technically last night as it's past midnight but it counts as tonight) Second gig with a new band (Midnight Mayhem (they were already called that when I joined, don't judge me)) at The Rose & Crown in Ludlow. Lovely old pub that has lots of live music so they're used to it, fairly small stage place where the band goes, decent mob there by the time we'd set up and soundchecked (The soundcheck (sixteen bars of 'All the small things') had people up dancing (!)) and from the off people were loving it - singing along, dancing and generally enjoying it. Mid first set, a bloke came up and told me he appreciated my Bass playing (Not 'liked' it, mind you) which I tried to take as a compliment, then he stood right in front of me and watched me intently which meant I completely forgot how to play. At half time a guy I'd genuinely never seen before came up and greeted me like a long lost friend ("I forgot you said you did this too!" ) so I had to pretend I knew who he was (because I am English and to say "I'm so sorry but I have no idea who you are" is about as appealing as stamping on a newborn kitten) which was...odd. The set went down really well, it's a mix of (sort of) alt-80s type stuff (Back on the chain gang, couple of Blondie ones, Kids in America (Kim Wilde - absolute BANGER and tonnes of fun to play), There's a guy works down the chipshop swears he's Elvis, Doctor Doctor (Robert Palmer), Echo Beach, Sweet Dreams sort of thing), a few pub-cover chestnuts (Dakota, Teenage Dirtbag, Mr Brightside (which the guitarist started in the wrong key and then got horribly confused when it came to the chorus but he styled it out)), a couple of curveballs (Take another little piece of my heart, Crash (Primitives)) and an ABBA one for good measure. I went for a wireless wander for the last song (Born to be wild) which got a good reception AND I got to fuss TWO Doggos *AND* a man told me my dreadlocks are "Really Cool". We played really well, sounded good, went down a treat (Even the bar staff liked us) and the singer said my playing "brought them to another level" which was very gratifying to hear. Played the StingRay -> Small board (I only used the Soul Food) -> Amp board (Thumpinator -> VTDI) -> Markbass CMD 121, footwear was the bright orange DMs (with glittery black laces). An absolute corker of a gig!

Well I wondered this, but then on the Octamizer youtube video I saw a comment saying “why would you make this a digital pedal?” Or something along those lines? So no I think it correct - looks like they might be digital. I’m honestly not too bothered as long as it sounds good, however I know it’ll definitely be a dealbreaker for a lot of people

Trace Elf in good working condition. Tiny but mighty. An ideal home practice, spare or gigging head. I’ve used one a number of times with PA support and even in smaller venues on its lonesome. Comes with carry bag and mains lead. If my other amp I have up for sale sells first, I’ll be keeping this. Pics to follow but it looks just like a Trace Elliot Elf bass head. Postage mainland UK £10 or collect from Blackburn Lancs.

Gibsons are readily converted to headless though. -
My preference is for neck-through basses, which is a bit limiting as it rules out FSOs and MMSOs (although I do have one of the former and two of the latter). That leaves me with hoping another Antoniotsai 5-string comes up, going for a Mazeti if one comes up, or looking at the Harley Benton BZ-5000 from Thomann or the Chicago 5-string through-neck from Gear4Music, neither of which I've played. Or maybe playing roulette and going for something from AliExpress. Or a second-hand Ibanez BTB (not the bolt-on ones).

Another solid vote here for the Cort Space Bass 5. This is my third one... and it only cost me £420 in as-new condition! They sound fantastic too. -
For reference on the sound, Pete Trewavas has used the 4 string version with Marillion as well as his Warwick Thumb - for example

Having finished the two BC1x10's I decided that I'd have a go at the BC1x8 which is well under way. At the same time I have also decided to build something to house the 15" Eminence driver that I'd been given a while ago. Both underway and at different stages of completion. I used an opensource plan as the basis for the 1x15 using WinISD to attempt to tune the final design. Only time will tell how it sounds. After these it's on to finishing the two bass guitars that are in the pipeline, a VOX Phantom tribute, planned to be short scale, and a new old stock Dan Armstrong body that I bought recently. It's a good job woodwork was my favorite subject at school.
