Barefaced Big Twin 2 Gen 3 or 2 x BB3 stack

IMO if 1 cab sounds good, 2 cabs always sound better. You move more air which can make you louder, but more importantly improves your tone. -

Not really helping with the question, but I am looking for the same info but for a different reason. I built a bass vi using a 30 scale bass neck, hence a 62.5mm heel width, which provides a more user friendly string spacing than the normal vi arrangement. Now I want to repeat the process with a semi acoustic or hollow body, but very few have info on string spacing except at the nut. So I guess 55mm at the 12th will mote or less equate to 62.5 or 2.5 inches at the heel?

Been in loads of blues bands over the years and played more than my fair share of blues/jazz festivals. so have some personal views about blues sets 😞 for example for me blues has moved on and the boundary crossing into other areas is what interests me, i think the old traditional blues set has been done to death, and i think many punters feel the same going on people that come up after a gig and say things like " what a blast of fresh air" "great set away from that yawny blues" while i think its great to keep all forms of traditional music going for those that like and the new that want to experience a traditional blues band, its that boundary pushing that still excites me enough to want to enjoy playing it. which leads me to my point, writing your own new fresh original music in a blues band is a way of pushing those boundaries and if the songs are good people can only and will applaud that effort and my last blues band was all about that, playing stuff most blues bands dont play and mixing that with original stuff. so being a funky minded person alot of the set and original stuff was pushed that way. I say get some original stuff mixed in there and enjoy that, then if it goes down well get it out there, push the limits. JMHO

My final foray into modelling/digital rigs (for now)... this has been my favourite but that world is just not for me. Used for 3 shows and well looked after! Comes with a far tougher power supply (original included). Price includes UK shipping, collection welcome or I may well be coming near you! The only thing i'd consider in trade at the moment is an Ashdown CTM30 as i miss mine dearly!

I've got this oddity coming in as a part exchange tomorrow (if all goes to plan). It's a "Precision Bass Special", basically a precursor to the Highway One, American Special, and the current American Performer. These basses had painted bodies and necks from the Ensenada Mexico plant, and then were constructed in the USA at the Corona factory. Produced between 1997-1998, these were labelled as "California Series" and had AMX serial numbers. Anyway, it'll be on the Marketplace tomorrow evening. It's a Precision after all! Anyone had any prior experience of this particular model? Obviously, the current owner likes Goooooolllld!
