Just the PSU left now. No box but I will include a mains plug USB adaptor plus a short micro USB cable to charge the PSU with. Here we have a used but not abused Rockboard Tres 3.0 pedalboard setup that, with the addition of the power supply and patchbay, means you are set up and ready to go. No need for mains power to the board, you just charge the power supply before the gig and you can enjoy hum-free pedals all night! I've never had any issues with this setup. The battery can do a two set gig with no issue. New, all of this would have been £200, so I think £125 posted is fair. Thanks for looking EDIT: Forgot to add proof of ownership to the pictures, but hopefully pages and pages of feedback (see link in signature) will confirm I am a legit seller!

I picked this up from @Basilpea not that long ago. It's a great cab, but it isn't a cosmetic match to my other AT210, so being the fickle person I am I want to replace this... It's got some small dents from being gigged, but overall in good condition and absurdly light. You can pick it up with two fingers! It's also very loud. W52 x D33,5 x H57 cm 600 watts at 4 ohms 103dB SPL Also comes with GR Bass soft padded cover. GR say: The lightest 2×10 bass cabinet in the world. Thanks to its size, lightness, and power, the AT 210 is one of the most versatile cabinets in the entire catalog. Suitable for both small and large live shows, it allows you to always have your sound with you. With the AeroTech line, you can have the incredible innovation of our Carbon Fibre cabinets combined with the Pure Sound of GR, which is the pure sound of your instrument. Incredible sound, lightweight, power, impact resistance, and a beautiful modern design. I'm afraid this is collection only, as I don't have anything suitable to ship it in. No trades either thanks. I'm using @Basilpea's pictures, which I hope he's okay with.

I’ve always found them disappointingly bright but I guess I have the James Jameson sound in my head. You might think that rolling off the tone would get there but then you can’t hear the top string at all. I always ended up throwing money at them to try to improve the tone and never got there. Shorties seem to provide that tone much more easily. However, that’s just IMO. Agree about Maruszczyk prices; especially when you see what used examples sell for in the BC listings. I have an Elwood 4a 32” that I bought used and I could never afford to replace it with a new one now, if it got pinched. -
phsycoandy started following Vintage Mini Polytone S15B Bass Combo

In decent order and full working condition, everything works as it should. A very capable vintage combo and more than loud enough for small and medium gigs. Has some paint specs on the Tolex and a little tear in the speaker cover at the top, see picture. 15" speaker and 2 tweeters. She sounds fabulous. Shipping £15 UK. £275

WinterMute started following 8U 19" rack unit and Studio upgrade
-
Finally getting round to updating the studio, I've been doing it piecemeal for years and the cabling has gotten scruffy, plus I need to move some rack units around to make room for some new kit. Having a new rack unit built to house the amps and storage, and adding 2 new units to the upper racks, an RND Master Buss Processor and an RND Master Buss Transformer, a second Shelford will eventually be added and the UAD X16 will go into the side rack. I foresee an extended period of cable wrangling in my immediate future...

Used for a few months …. spec below No more batteries to change, no more tangled cables to trip over. The FuelTank is the perfect power supply unit for guitarists who want to focus on their performance, not their gear. Delivering 1.500 mA of power through ten DC plugs, FuelTank powers all your pedals, keeping you running on full power night after night. With a compact design, FuelTank fits conveniently every pedalboard including the T-Rex ToneTrunk effect board. And it comes with all the cables you need to get you up and running. Key Features The Only Non-Isolated Power Supply! - Non-isolated power supplies also have an efficiency advantage. The lack of isolation barriers provides direct control and monitoring of the output, which enables better performance and regulation. All the Cables you Need – The Fuel Tank comes complete with a collection of different cables to connect your pedals efficiently. Pure Classic Power Fuel Tank delivers 1.500 mA of reliable power. Two of the ten outputs provide 12-volt power with isolated ground, one DC and the other AC, for AC pedals. Each output is short-circuit protected. Eight 9-volt DC output plugs, all sharing the same ground. Giving a total of 500 mA One 12-volt DC output with isolated ground, giving 500 mA One 12-volt AC output with isolated ground, giving 500 mA The Only Non-Isolated Power Supply What Is a Non-Isolated Power Supply? As you may have guessed, a non-isolated power supply does not have insulation to isolate the circuit. Both the input and output share a common ground, so the current can flow between them through a single circuit. What's in the Box? MAINS input power plug, 3-pin standard plug One 5-connector link cable/daisy chain for the DC outputs Eight black extension cables for the DC outputs, length 25 cm Ten black extension cables for the DC outputs, length 50 cm Two red extension cables for the 12-volt AC output, 25 cm Who are T Rex? T Rex are based in Denmark and have been established since 1996. They are one of the original "boutique" pedal manufacturers, offering guitar and bass players a superior range of FX pedals. Specifications The dimensions of the FuelTank are: L:15,8 cm H:3,8 cm W:7,6 cm Notable Points Want to mount this underneath your pedalboard? Mounting Brackets that attach are sold separately. If you have a pedal that only accepts 18 volt, you cannot use the Classic. You need the FuelTank Chameleon or the FuelTank Junior and the yellow voltage doubler cable.

There's always the Sandberg Lionel, I love mine though it's more of a modern P sound than an older school thump. a number of users on here have swapped to EMG Geezers on their Lionels for a more vintage tone. -
Great preamp pedal if you want that vintage Spector sound from a passive bass simple and effective .. in good condition and includes box .. bass direct have these at £285.00 + postage Looking for £170.00 inc uk postage Simple elegance in design and use is a goal with every product we create. The HL-1 HAZard LAMPS is made to do one thing: provide a simple solution to allow Spector bassist to switch to a favorite passive bass during a show without unbalancing the mix of the band. Period. There are no extraneous controls: you have a bass and treble knob just like you’d get on the Spector bass with an active preamp, and a stomp button. Even though we don’t need instructions, here are the steps to use the HL-1 HAZard LAMPS pedal. Plug in power. The unit requires either 9volts or 18volts from an external power supply. Do NOT use more than 18volts because you’ll let the magic smoke out and you’ll be the owner of a fantastic-looking paper weight. Plug your bass into the INPUT jack on the right side of the unit. We recommend the HAZard LAMPS be the first unit in your signal chain so that it is as close to a built-in preamp as possible. Plug the OUTPUT into your amp or other pedals in your signal chain. Turn the knobs to the desired EQ. There is a center detent at the 12 o’clock position that indicates the FLAT EQ position. The thickness of the dial markings indicate EQ zones: a. CCW (thin line) is EQ CUT. b. CW (thicker line) is EQ BOOST. c. CW (fat line) is the “fun zone” where a lot of Spector users tend to run their basses to get that sound. EQ in this range is often referred to as being “dimed.” Stomp the button to toggle the unit OFF and ON. If the LED is ON, the HAZard LAMPS is doing its thing.

I have a short scale Maruszczyk Jake 4P 30. Styled like a P with a slightly scaled down body, albeit with the pickup more in the Mustang position. It has the Haussel PB4 pickup and to my ears sounds like the kind of vintage P tones I hear on records - caveat being that I've never had a full scale P bass so can only compare with what I hear in recordings. Prices on them seem to have increased significantly recently though. I got mine only just over a year ago from Bass Direct for £1250. They have a couple in stock now and since then the prices have gone up to £1700! Honestly that seems rather steep. I'd recommend one at £1250. It's a much harder sell at £1700. -
dave_bass5 started following Doubt pedalboard Skunk Anansie and Do you use your “best” bass on gigs?
-
I use my best bass for anything bass related. No point having a best and not using it. To me most expensive doesn't mean best, but I use my most expense bass as well (it's the same one in my case).
-
One thing to consider with effects, is the correct order to get the tone you want. It's not always obvious what goes first etc, even if you know what effects are used. In this case something like the HX Strop is a lot easier to swap the order of the separate effects than a wired pedal board. Personally id try and do it all in the Stomp first.
