I’ve gone back to using a head and cab, so my Markbass combo is up for grabs. It’s a great amp, deceptively loud for its size and in good condition (although the handle is looking a bit worse for wear). Looking for £425 collected from Haywards Heath, or I’d be happy to meet halfway within a reasonable distance. Better photos, proof of ownership etc to come but here are some for starters.

Who they? This isn't X or Truth Social - most people on here care about their basses and about each other. -

This is probably not adding any value to the conversation but here goes. Isn’t the body shape essentially the same as a Jaguar bass? The difference is in the electronics, so apart from that aspect, I struggle to see how this could be described as a prototype. Sorry, I know that didn’t add any value but it did seem like a poor excuse for shoddy work. I’m glad the luthier is sorting it. Hold his/her/their feet to the fire. I still think you should be given a part refund/discount for the inconvenience. I hope it works out for you. -
Man that looks geeky. In a good way, you understand. It's beautifully uncomplicated in appearance. I bet it looks good with all the valves warmed up and the lights down. Why do you need a top handle? It's asking for the whole unit to be mishandled if you aren't there. Side handles would mean a two handed lift which is less likely to result in knocks or worse. Just a feeling you understand, I'd feel safer. Plus, You'd get to keep a nice clean top on it. Great build thread. Thanks for sharing.

If these are his pics before he sent it, you cant see the scrapes near the bridge that you can see on yours after delivery. Must have happened in the packing/shipping/storage stage. -

I agree and hope my comment wasn't taken as endorsing the "get a grip" sideswipe. -

The bass is gone now, this is the only other photo I have taken from his bench. The bridge doesn't have adjustable string spacing. -

Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to be that person, but to me, this photo is obviously taken at quite an angle, yet the E and G strings appear to be similar distance from the edge of the fretboard. That can't be right. What would be great is a flat straight shot from bridge to headstock. I'm guessing it might have left you already tho?

I am not offended. I just don't think its very constructive to be told 'get a grip and do what I say'. I appreciate the input though. -

Yeah @hiram.k.hackenbacker the bridge and pickups are in line with each other but not the body or the neck. I fear this might be the work of a of a once good luthier whose eyesight is now failing him. I say this with all sincerity btw.
