  1. Past hour
  2. But they would give advice on what to do, and I'd trust them more than Pirate.
  3. https://www.syfire.gov.uk/business-advice/fire-alarms/ South Yorkshire fire service will only attend if there is a confirmed fire.
  4. ...at this point I can't help put post my "practicing at home rig" which only cost me £150 (granted the amp was broken but it was only a single transistor that needed replacing) and now it works fine. The crazy thing is if you go second hand there is no need to think small!
  5. I think the side Jack makes it look much cleaner on the front. Good move.
  6. Dropped to £90 posted.
  7. I clicked on it, didn't know what Rumble was at the time. The other videos on that account seem to fit your description.
  8. There's a very exciting Netflix drama in this!!!!
  9. Well if you believe those who disagree are hate speechers...does everyone in your life agree..how sad..
  10. ...at which point I would smile sweetly, crank my Trace Elliot stack, and tell the sound engineer(?) that the bass needed to be heard front of house and I would happily turn down when he took my post-DI signal...
  11. I'd never heard of pirate before reading this thread. It makes me glad to be in a band where the guitarist has a studio in his home. The only hazard I encounter is the possibility of tripping over Ralph.
  12. Something about hitting a bum note...
  13. Hi Mark, i can confirm that the box fits. details are 28kg (working from internet specs) 83 x 70 x 53 shipping would be at your own cost and risk. Drop me a message if you want to proceed.
  14. Just had a noodle on one of these in GuitarGuitar. First 2 minutes of not quite fretting right on the fanned frets but grand after. Fit, finish and weight are really nice and I'm a big fan of the rotary controls. For someone lazy like me it makes it super easy to get a good range of useable tones. Action was potentially a little low for me but the neck was really playable and I was flying about it playing through a good few styles. Would definitely consider it if you want a modern P J that looks kind of Fender-y but not. I reckon if I was getting a Dingwall I'd still go D-Roc as I like the shape and they a stupidly good value second hand.
  15. Good point..but i thought this was about bass playing...smile...have fun
  16. Hi Mark, sorry on holiday with poor reception and just got this. When I get back on Sunday, I’ll see if it fits in the box for the Ampeg 410 I just bought. There is someone else that wants to know if I can post it.
  17. Truth is often called hate to those who don't seek it.. Tough crowd, ok...now besides telling me yall wouldn't want to play it...question? Could yall if you wanted to...lol..I know I'm eccentric..lol I like fishing for men too..lol
  18. I wouldn't have bothered trying to talk with Pirate, I'd have just called the fire service right away. They'd confirm the place was safe, or not. They would then contact Pirate.
  19. That’s a fantastic weight for a fiver (or any ‘Ray for that matter). What a looker too! GLWTS.
  20. I've come back to the fuzzmo after a fair few years, seriously excellent fuzz that does heaps. Think you might regret selling it mate. Glwts
