  1. Past hour
  2. Would of snapped this up had I not bought a Gnome i pro just the other day. Good luck and I hope it sells for you
  3. It was a pretty great gig lastnight on the ska scene, first outing for the Sandberg VM SL - interestingly, I ended up playing it passively with a Sadowsky Pre and Tonerider Duke installed. The bass was light, but by god those Dr Martins were heavy!
  4. On the two digital desks I play through I can adjust the overall eq of each aux but not the individual channels. On the Behringer XR18 you can if you connect a personal mixer P16 to the desk using ultranet.
  5. Lovely bass, but it does look a little bit like the dog got hold of it......
  6. Billy Sheehan: Advanced Bass Bass Guitar DVD up for sale: As new, case and disc in perfect condition - £10 including postage in the UK only. Here's my feedback from previous Basschat transactions:
  7. PM’d Out of interest… does anyone know would these fit a JMJ?
  8. If I hadn’t just bought the API comp I’d have had the UT&T.
  9. I’ve always wanted one of these! Unfortunately having a grandmother and minitaur , means that I’ll have to pass . Have a bump anyway ! GLWTS
  10. I don't really know how to describe this one... can be a preamp, DI, Fuzz, Drive or EQ with a particular flavour of it's own. Great condition, Price includes UK Delivery.

  11. I have one of these - epic,epic pedal.
  12. This is a special one... Swamp ash body, roasted maple neck and fretboard with black blocks. The full Sandberg masterpiece treatment, including vibration and heat, and some of the best heavy ageing available. I need to properly weigh and photograph this over the next few days, but it's the lightest solidbody bass I have here by quite a margin. UK Shipping absolutley doable, collection welcome. Comes with high quality Sandberg gigbag, and a spare set of pickups (white covers). Any and all questions very welcome! .
  13. Given the nature of the Bird... I'd prefer collection/Delivery but well packaged and very insured postage is possible. This one has been my gateway drug, and before i knew it i've bought myself an old single pickup model. It's in mint condition, and comes with a great padded gigbag. Pretty light at 3.8 kg, and personally I haven't had an issue with neck dive as these sometimes suffer from. These are proper neck-through models like the originals. As always please hit me up with questions/photo requests! .

  14. The Fat Finger does not reduce the dead spot, it just moves it. Hopefully to a note that bothers you less in a specific situation. If you're lucky you may get it in between two notes, so that you have two milder "deadish" spots instead of one pronounced dead spot. I recently stumbled on this thing, though, and it intrigues me: https://wolfterminator.com/dead-spot-eliminator-electric-bass/ The concept seems sound. If kwmlondon is annoyed enough, he might want to take one for the team and try it out. 😃 (And report his findings here, of course)
  15. Uk mainland postage included. it’s in good condition and is has a Matt finish on the visible side. taken from my ‘99 Ray

  17. I’m sure that our musical styles will differ somewhat and I won’t listen till mines done , but I have gone down the zebra route as well 😂
  18. Oh my days .... I love the green one, pity it's not a 5 😫
  19. PAs have got so much better now so for alot of people, an amp is mostly for stage monitoring and tone sculpting these days. A 200wamp with a 1x12 or 2x10 will be sufficient for lot of people.
  20. A thirty quid case off eBay? Call it an accessory and be done with it, I reckon. I like to have separate accomodation for all my basses too, I get it.
  21. cheers Mark , it’s lovely just needs playing
  22. https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1961195121498875&id=1808464263 Overall not a bad night at our monthly spot. First gig with new drummer Paul. certainly has done his homework, great player. A little loud but has an E kit he’s going to use, hopefully.
  23. Friday evening. Getting over a cold (not feeling bad, just the runniest nose of my life, was like a tap on the front of my face). Was the first one this year and really good to be playing with other people. We ran through the usual set list and tried a couple of new numbers, one of them is coming together well. Was playing through a Blackstar 2x10" combo, 250w I think. This one was working well (they can be a bit and miss at Pirate) and it sounded lovely, especially with the Sansamp VT pedal - lovely bit of distortion. The ABZ is on Dragonskin+ and they suit me so well - lovely feel and good sound, well, too bright most of the time but the bass has a passive tone AND an active treble so really easy to dial in what I want for each song. I like a nice, toppy distorted sound when I use it.
