Anyone know a Luthier who refrets Graphite Necks?

It is, yes. So would be a very delicate job, I'd assume. -
Might need to relabel the fingerboard.

Is this a factory fretless? Has to be a short scale, because of the Bendwell. -
Just listening to it right now, Kraftwerk meeting latin music, still excellent after all these years. Sometimes rediscovering his own discotheque is great.

Guys, Guys, listen... We picked up a nice, but very oddly spec'd Status S2-Classic 5 today and we're looking to get the lined fretless neck fretted. Obviously most Luthiers won't even go near a graphite neck with a fret hammer, but if you know of a brave one with nerves of stainless steel (like his frets!), please do let me know!

I have a reasonable degree of syndactyly. Nothing outrageous, but my fingers look much shorter than they really are. I simply cannot play with rings on either hand. I can't play with a watch on. Seems to constrict the tendons in my left wrist. Tried playing in fingerless gloves (because: cold) and that didn't work out well at all.

Not a fan of the slab body but that neck is gorgeous for a Fender https://bassbros.co.uk/product/1966-fender-precision-bass-slab-body/

Brilliant!! Hope that it all goes well. The vids of the previous Sundays for Sammy have been amazing. Such a great thing to to and such great cause. All the best for the night. Any special guests you’re in a position to divulge yet or is that all under wraps until the event? -

Wow - lots of Trace Elliot fans on here, although not really the new stuff!

Aside from the fact several are headless, I don't see any design similarities between Herr Schmidt's quirky & rather home-made aesthetic & the design & construction of the Bass Gallery Antbass. I doubt they're related.

He's also the guy behind this pretty delirious, but excellent project:

Looks like it was the model name of Uwe Schmidt, not the brand: http://guitardesignreviews.com/2011/08/soundboard-interview-with-guitar-designer-uwe-schmidt/

Did you ask Adam? I'll get my coat.

No idea wh they are but that is a very cool shape. Love a bit of brass on a bass as well. I wonder how The Gallery came up with that price - seems pretty premium for what is most likely a curiosity.
