    There is no bevel visible, and it appears very thin. I think this is a proper anodized guard.

    Boss WL-50. Performed for every gig and rehearsal without a glitch for 5 or more years until I switched to the Legato bugs. No box but here's the Boss page: https://www.boss.info/global/products/wl-50/ These are just shy of £200 new, I'm asking £100 posted to UK mainland. Alternatively try before you buy in Benfleet, Essex.

    I have a TC BH800 with a PJB C8L, both in red. Looks far to posh for the way I dress. It's a shame you can't get the bigger PJB stuff in white like their small combos, they should also do blue tolex to match their 800w head. Aquilar and Purple Chili used to do cool coloured tolex, actually a bit surprising more manufacturers don't go for it really as they look cool and stand out.

    What varies is the electronics of these early models. This one has the original Japanese electronics. Is it of worse quality? Hehe, I think the Japanese electronics are just as good as the others. Even much better.

    Probably too much of an ask, and not a deal breaker, but any chance of a slimmer nut width on the 4 ray? 40mm-38mm? Appreciate I maybe in a minority and it may not be feasible though.

    Anyone had to replace these - one of the machine heads snapped on mine - I read on TalkBass that someone used Gotoh GB707s on a SR500 or Gotoh GB350 2L/2R B Bass Tuners. Any others that would fit, and be better than the stock die-cast ones. Thanks
