My all time favorite band is Blue Oyster Cult and I am listening to "Joan Crawford" now. Funny enough, never touched a guitar in my life but Buck Dharma is one of my biggest influences, I just kind of "translate" some of his phrases and playing style to bass in my head and I love how much melody and feel it adds to my lines.

Cab covers are expensive I feel where sometimes you just need a rain / dust cover. I have MB58R 102 Energy cabs and one cover ! So one cab without at the moment Can’t decide if a second cover is worth it

4-Pos/3-Pole Rotary Switch for two pickup wiring
Immo replied to Immo's topic in Repairs and Technical
Looks the same, just w/ swapped pickups and one Hot output being soldered to output terminals instead of the inner pole (A). Is there any practical difference? - Yesterday

Would breakers work in this application? I like the clean look of the front panel.

Local luthier took a pass. Version / attempt 1. Not mad at it! -
The summer of 69 had its moments. I still don't like playing the song though.

I've a lovely Aerodyne Jazz for sale. Serial number dates it at 95-96 MIJ, and it's wearing its years very well. Plays great, neck is straight and it polishes up lovely. There's a few marks here and there, which I've tried to capture in the photos. Strings are recently fitted Tomastik TI Jazz Flats, along with Schaller S Lock buttons. Happy to send via Parcelforce in a Hiscox hardcase ( included in the sale ) to UK addresses. Cheers

Yes, it's based on a modification of the Fender tonestack but it also has make-up gain within the circuit so it behaves a little more predictably, with less interaction.

I've done exactly this on a few guitars. I'm not near my computer, but I have diagrams somewhere. I'll have a look in the morning. -

Tonight I trimmed the plastic face plates and re-glued them at the ends, fitted the knobs, and labelled all the DC power nodes (A, B, C, and D) on the board. I checked the circuit against the scematic and found a couple of issues: An output valve connection that had somehow escaped soldering, so that it was just hanging loose - not a great idea! Remember this post where I had a couple of 2.2nF caps but 'realised' I needed 22nF and had to order some? No, 2.2nF was right, I just wrote it wrong on the layout! I'm having some last-minute thoughts about fuse values. Based on the transformers from the donor amp, I think it would be T1.6A for mains and F2A for the HT.

I'm looking to ditch the Jazz-style wiring on my P+P bass, because it doesn't work the way it should, rolling down one volume essentially makes its pickup inaudible anyway. I want to swap one pot to a 4-position rotary switch that will enable switching between: Neck PU only, both PUs in Parallel, both PUs in Series, Bridge pickup only. I searched online and can't seem to find a wiring diagram nor a thread on forum/Reddit/etc. that understands that mission, and I could've sworn that before the search engines suffered a major episode of enpoopification, the diagram WAS there. Anyway, I made a crude diagram myself and just want to make sure it's legit. My ADHD brain sometimes just won't cooperate with such focused tasks. Any help and feedback would be appreciated.

Someone sent me this transcription, I reviewed and reformatted it. Only afterward did I notice it was already on your website. I still have several others I’ve prepared in the past that I was planning to post, Tipatina's is just one example.
