Recently decided to work out Never Forget You by the Noisettes as I really liked the song, and discovered it to be astonishingly simple! A great feel and good fun to play.

Its got groove, its got a very simple line and things build up nice with each instrument coming in bit by bit . Also it gets a little interesting in the chorus and you get to throw some shapes when hitting them notes.

Damn I feel like dancing now awwwwwwwwwwwwoh! Yeah! Uh Uh! HuH!
Brilliant shout a must for all player. i would like to add to this mix Small axe by Marley and " Calling all the heroes" It Bites

Well.. it's a bit of a silly question in the first place. Everything is easy when you can play it and difficult when you can't. Please excuse the kitchen sink philosophy

yes and no, I still have trouble with Monkey Man and Babylons Burning.
Glad you resurected this thread, made me read it again, London Calling keeps getting mentioned a lot, I wouldn't have said that was stupidly easy to play, not properly anyway, or like I said before maybe I'm a crap bass player :(

A few that others have mentioned, indeed, nice and easy, and sound good too, ie Stand By Me and Chasing Cars.
Both of them sound awesome when the band belts them out, simple, yet effective.

Personally I like, for simpleness, yet a good thumping song, love to play Muscle Museum by Muse....fab.

Bob Marley - Stir It Up

One of the first bass lines i learned to play. You can really zone out to it for ages. Using it to practice placing your fingers properly and getting a clear note.
