jd56hawk Posted Monday at 13:31 Posted Monday at 13:31 Not mine, but if it's still unsold when I get my income tax check... This is a custom model based on the Jaguar bass. The body is made of ash, the fingerboard of rosewood, and the neck of maple. It features both a PB-type pickup and a Music Man-style. Controls include a master volume, pickup balancer, and tone knob, allowing seamless blending between the PB pickup and the Music Man pickup. 11 Quote
Sean Posted Monday at 15:54 Posted Monday at 15:54 It looks like April according to my accountant before the 24-25 tax year rebates will be in. They will of course pay a whopping 2.75% for keeping your money from you all that time. 1 Quote
binky_bass Posted yesterday at 09:54 Posted yesterday at 09:54 I've always found Reverb an awful place to shop... Almost every seller ups their price to compensate for fees, so if buying from a retailer via Reverb its far cheaper to buy direct. Most of the private sales have stupidly high prices. Its not bad if you are a private seller selling at a fair price as things normally sell quickly in the backdrop of the typically really high prices! 5 Quote
Marvin Posted yesterday at 11:01 Posted yesterday at 11:01 I don't want to sound like a sychophant, but here, Basschat, is 'the place to shop'. Sometimes you may have to be a bit patient. I've bought some cracking gear, and recently bought a cab I've always wanted on here. I don't think there's anywhere more trustworthy and fairly priced. 8 Quote

bloke_zero Posted yesterday at 11:36 Posted yesterday at 11:36 It's changed selling prices as people put things up at really high prices and then slowly drop them until they get a bite - it's a very different process to ebay. Or here! I'd always rather sell here, but it's easy for listings to get lost Quote

It is - I couldn't find a Reverb listing for it but there are numerous different dealers advertising the same bass, as is often their wont. This Korean listing has loads of pics. I like this a lot, tbf. https://geekinbox.kr/product/중고creation-jaguar-type-bass-415kggib효고/8252/category/1/display/3/?icid=MAIN.product_listmain_2 It occurs to me you could make a nice cheapo facsimilie of this from one of those old 'Stagguars', which had 2x MM pickups as standard. A bit of routing, new pickguard & a hardware upgrade... Quote

miles'tone Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I'm not a fan of Reverb now. Used it a bit in the past with no issues whatsoever, but last year I wanted to list some items and found that my account was suspended for some reason. It started to become a right faff to get it working again so I left it. Couldn't be ars£d. Ebay is super easy now so I just use them if I have no success on Basschat. Quote
Gizmo Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago While nowhere near as bad as they used to be i find Reverbs Fee's to still be a little off putting, I've also started to get a lot of Fraudulent "sold" Spam, I reported this via there system but the messages are still coming in from various accounts.. here's the last one (minus the "hot ink") Hey, Your item has been sold on Reverb. This message includes a link where you can look over your account details. There’s no rush and it doesn’t take long — most people just skim through the info and move on. This step usually comes up around this point as the sale wraps up,http://*****.org/lkajdo just to keep everything aligned in the final stage. Once you’ve had a look, you can leave it there. The rest of the process continues without any follow-ups or extra steps. If something catches your eye while you’re checking, you can always reach out — but generally it’s a quick pass and that’s it. Delivery Team Seems Reverb have a problem they can't fix..... Quote
