Can anyone reccomended a multi-effects pedal for a technically challenged old guy. I’m looking for something that isn’t too bamboozling. Thanks in advance.

Maybe a Zoom B1-4?

Can typically be had in good used condition for < £60.

As well as being a neat multifx, it includes a very useful tuner, drum machine, looper and headphone out.

Really depends on what you need.

An old Zoom b3 would be incredibly simple as its basically lined up as individual pedals which you can mix and match. Once you learn how the menus work, its pretty easy and they sound decent enough. Bit old and limited as to whats available these days though.

If you're not after major flexibility, one of those "flyrig" type systems would probably be as easy as you can get... not digital menus etc.  I've never tried one but always fancied having one as a wee back up system.
