Mickyk Posted Friday at 15:57 Posted Friday at 15:57 I seemed to have acquired a hissing sound resonating through my cab speaker when i am using my Sansamp which is connected to the FX Return jack on my Amp to the out Jack on the Sansamp. This hissing doesn't happen when i'm going directly into the Amp only when using the Sansamp.?Any ideas anyone. If this post is in the wrong place feel free to move it Quote

steve-bbb Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago what time of day was it? i used to experience this strange hissing sound during the summer every night at around the same time - after observing the pattern it turned out it was always exactly around 3am - so after several nights listening from the bedroom window i decided to go out the front door into the garden to see if i could hear it any better or identify where it was emanating from turned out to be the local pitch and putt golf course (council owned and run) using an automatic watering system on their greens that was set to a time in the middle of the night when everybody would be fast asleep and hence nobody would realise what they were up to during a rather long hot summer with its accompanying hosepipe ban 🙄 Quote

snorkie635 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Are you near any other BC chap/chapess who owns a sans-amp. If you could borrow theirs for a day, you'd know if your one is working as it should. Just a thought. Quote
Mickyk Posted 9 hours ago Author Posted 9 hours ago Well found out what the cause was ,it was the 9 volt power supply which in only three months old, this Chinese Amazon junk is exactly what is, junk. 2 1 Quote
