Oohh, our TV is always at odd numbers for volume. Normally 35 when watching with The Wife, but when she's in bed I set it to 31, sometimes 29 or 27 if it's a particularly loud mix.

That depends what day of the week it is. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are multiples of five, Tuesdays and Thursdays are multiples of four, and the weekend is prime numbers.

We have a sound bar that's the same. It was great. Until firestick. Now there is off/tooquiet/tooloud .... never been higher than that. It's bloody infuriating.

1) People who post 'collection-only' pedal listings online 🥴 This isn't the noticeboard on your local village green... 
Sending a pedal via post isn't hard. I've sent 3 this week... I wouldn't sell things anywhere near as quick as I do currently (generally less than a week turnaround) if I refused to arrange delivery. Just denying yourself a sale. 

2) People who post very specific job-lots of individually expensive items and refuse to split 🥴 I can understand if the job-lot is cheap, but I've seen a few people post entire pedalboards totalling over £1000... What are the odds someone wants your exact setup lol? Why would you not just sell piecemeal and make the sales? Imagine if you went into a shop and they said sorry you can't buy this single Tshirt, you need to buy an entire pre-chosen wardrobe of clothes....

I genuinely think some people aren't bothered about making the sale, and just want to play shopkeeper on the internets.

There's no point to the wretched things. They're only there to cover over the front routing, and if the control cavity was rear routed instead, they could be done away with. They're just there to show that your expensive bass has been made as cheaply as possible. Harley Benton can manage rear routing of a bolt-on bass for £155, you'd think other makers could do as well for basses costing ten times as much.

No they're not.

Acoustic instruments have them, and many semi-acoustics and some others (e.g. many Gibsons) have decorative ones and have rear-routed control cavities.
