RightOn straps

Not really a review, rather a shout out to RightOn. 

I've got 3 of them and find them excellent. 

However, the reason for the post is my most recent purchase. 

I emailed them late Sunday evening regarding a custom strap design. Nothing too elaborate, but they don't sell one I wanted. 

Had a reply 1st thing Monday morning saying that they could make it, no problem. 

Payed, and had an email confirming. 

 

It arrived this afternoon. From Spain!! 

In a lovely box, and purple tissue paper. 

 

Thats what I call good service.

Good stuff! I'm a big fan of their straps. I've got two so far and they're excellent.

Although I didn't end up ordering in the end, I also contacted RightOn about making a custom strap for me. They answered back and asked questions then offered solutions along with a price and how to order. 

The only reason I didn't go through with the order is that I received a lovely welcome gift from Bass Gear Magazine,a care package that included a big branded strap!

 

That said, I might still treat myself given that they could make the strap I had in mind.

I said it wasn't elaborate. 

I bought a bass on here, stripped it, and had it resprayed in Gulf Racing blue. 

I wanted to add the orange strips, but not on the bass itself. However, RightOn didn't sell a black strap with orange stripes (although they do sell a blue /orange Racing one, but only in 6cm width). 

So I asked for a black strap, 8cm, with orange strips, and they duly obliged.

I do have a black strap with a racing orange stripe which I like (as it is on an orange bass), but not a right on one. I just got a right on paisley red for my red ric.

Nice!! I have the same one. And a white one with blue and red stripes... And a shiny "bronze" one. I think they're great, I love the little pick pockets too, really handy.

I’ve got a dilemma now though. Recently picked up a fretless to match the fretted but it’s faded to nearly yellow. It’s going to be impossible to match a strap to it, and because I use a Backbeat it’ll be easier to have one strap for both. Gone for my old 90’s ‘Slapstrap’ which is super comfy and a bit of a classic
