A superb blowout of joint winners in April, all on the money with excellent tuneage.

By a marvelously community spirited resolution , Jean-luc Pickguard has provided us with a lovely image ....

I chuckled muchly when this presented itself in my PM's !

So, we need rules ,

Entries must be <5 minutes and recorded between now and the deadline.

No illegal samples, copyright infringements or other snide goings-on

No Bagpipes, May be ... May not .. unless as a background ambience at -65db

No voting for your own entry. We'll know. And we'll shame you..

Deadline-wise, we will go for Midnight on the 24th May ... but I am out on the Sunday morning so you might get a few more hours polishing and rolling in glitter till Tea time on the 25th

A line or two of blurb as usual for the vote thread will be super duper smashing lovely.

Good luck, Have fun

If anyone is inclined to opt out of this month's challenge due to real or imagined ethical concerns about this months pic being AI generated, here's a pic of the real Ralph in a rare moment of being awake during rehearsal, guarding my pedalboard for some reason.

I thought the black and white on the keys were reversed on the Vox?

Vintage ones : yes. Reissue ones : no. B|

I decided to stick to the format/concept of single track bass improvisation, with only edits done to it in a simple Wav editor, so here I bring you:

The astonishing psychedelic Faux Electro Dog Simulation :

Take 1 of a free improvisation with some minor post production edits in a simple Wav editor.

Played on my 5 string Ibanez GSRM25 Mikro Bass, that I named "Mr. Growly - The Noodlemancer", tuned in G# standard tuning (as in one half step bellow the 4 upper strings of a 6 string bas in regular B standard tuning, plus a high E string), through my "amp-less" setup, directly into a hand held Zoom H4n recorder.

I'm not sure I'll get much more to add to this so I'll leave it as it is

just a bit of Electric piano in a smooth stylee ,  Paws for effect

Nothing Technical to add , just a bit of Ozone 8 over the top

Posting this now so I can have a free weekend and some headspace - been getting a bit fixated, as usual, and already spent more time on Logic this month than I should have...

Scooby Snacks My Bitch Up

That puppet dog looks like he’s had a few scooby snacks - so we dusted off the keyboard, went electro, and got that canine and chums on the mic.

Here's my entry for this month: Woof! by Jinky Fuzz featuring Ralph.

For this I used a Logic Pro Drummer, with Fender JMJ Mustang bass and Epiphone Les Paul Custom recorded via my focusrite 2i2 3rd gen interface. The  Organ and FX are from logic's built-in plugins. A few Public domain doggie barking samples were played using Logic's simple sampler.
