The processes involved and machinery takes me back to my wood machining/bench joinery days where i was employed for 25 years in  the manufacture of hardwood and softwood internal and external carved wood doors when they were all the rage.Now retired but i'm finding this very interesting indeed,that CNC Router looks the bees and the  Planer Thicknesser as well as all the other kit all spot on .

Kudos to all involved.

It feels bittersweet that Nicks vision has reached this point yet he won’t be able to see it or make it sing 😢

She’ll now be given some time to settle before setup and the last few jobs completed at which point we’ll tie down and announce the details of the charity raffle!

Thank you so much for posting the update. She looks beautiful, to see his name on the headstock made me 😢 but the positivity she will bring will be amazing! 

 

I found Nick's original drawing of her at his studio. He too was talented at DT at school although he was always too busy  impersonating our teachers!! Kat 🩵
