Also nobody has stated any food requirements, such as vegetarian, allergies or similar. Sadly Chateaubriand is not a requirement :)

Thanks

Beyond the pizza, which you are already generously providing and for which I shall make a donation, I just need access to tea, preferably continuously, otherwise I might expire.

I just refund this thread, got slightly excited and then looked at our calendar.

Next year, might see if @jimbobothy wants to join me!
Though to be fair going up Ingleborough would be fun too!

I'll lend you a dog or two for the walk, just keep throwing sticks for him and he'll be fine. I can probably get you a pack of Labs to pull you up if you get tired...

Yay, a week to go!  Today is planning day - do I have enough stands?

EDIT - EEK, I do not!  Glad I checked!

I have a few you can use if by some quirk of space-time physics you can't put 479 guitars in a Mitsubishi colt.

Thanks man, but I found a source of the Rotosound stands I like for a fiver cheaper than most places, and they have ALL the colours, so the order has been placed.

Where is this source?

I'll be having my foot operation on the Wednesday before the bash. I'm having the metal plates/wires or whatever removed from when I had my accident. I'm not sure how immobile I'll be so my poor downtrodden Mrs said she'll drive me up there if needed. I'm hoping (and most probably hopping) it won't be too bad and I'll be able to stand on my own two feet but I might need to be seated and have basses handed to me on request to drool over. I'll still be bring my gear along.

Also. If anybody wants a good (Bass Direct) shipping box please let me know as I have a couple here that are taking up space.

Also, also. We are both veggies.

Can't wait!!!

That's nice of your Missus. Is she going to stay with you or wants to do something for herself?

Clapham is a vast metropolis full of wonder and variety, nah, thats not it at all.

If she likes walking, then it's great. We have fabulous walks literally on our door step. Also mountain biking is big here and you can easily spend eight hours just taking the trails within a few miles of us. If she likes studying sheep, then we are the centre of the UK for sheep. We have so many sheep, she'll fall asleep counting them. That just about exhausts Claphams attractions. Settle is 15 mins down the road and is lovely but small, Kirkby Lonsdale is 15 mins back up the A65 and is quite delightful but not much bigger. Clapham village hall has free GB wifi with B4RN so she can stay connected. If she wanst to do something specific, PM me and I'll help advise. Dogs are exceptionally welcome here, all the pubs welcome them otherwise they would have no business, a fair few restaurants, shops and cafes do as well. My dog will pop into the village hall at various times during the day.

The village hall has a vast quantity of chairs and tables, I suggest we put you in the middle so we can rally to your calls of "Boy, that bass over there to me and quick now" as fast as we can. Sadly as it's GCSE and A level time, both my daughters are revising so they can't wait on you hand and foot. I'd suggest you bring your own cushions.

Will she want food, zero issues if she does?

@rwillett I'm not sure what she'll do but we might bring one of the mutts along as I'm sure she'd like to have a walk around the lovely countryside. I'm sure she'd like a slice of pizza but I did promise her a Greggs veggi sausage roll from the service station en route!

It's a shame that I have this operation and I'll probably won't be able to drive. Otherwise I'd bring the campervan up and make a weekend of it. Sadly, it's something my wife won't drive due to its size.
