Not after shipping to Poland. 36 quid for shipping is an OUTRAGE. Thomann ships it thrice cheaper. And Muziker ships it for free.

But thanks anyway :) I'm actually tempted to grab Disorder and Komorebi - the latter offers Chorus and Flanger tones, and has LFO.

Fair enough. I’d assumed UK given that the majority of folks on here are from there.

Got this through the post on Saturday - wow! Very impressed with it so far, really adds a little bit of magic to your tone - I had the mk1 a while ago but this is a pretty big upgrade on that - highly recommended

Probably not the most exciting pedal for bass players.  I wanted to add a bit of reverb to a band that plays a bit accustic and quiet at times so I thought adding the reverb as an option to the chorus already on the board.  I am looking forward to exploring the possibilities of this pedal.

How are you finding it? I had the original 5 knob version, and it's hands down my second favourite sounding reverb on bass (and way more versatile than my first pick - Neunaber Wet, which just sounds epic). I was really tempted by this newer version, but the cost just felt a bit too prohibitive.

I always thought a Hard No to Reverb on Bass, but the FTK Audio Fretless Pedal I purchased recently has it and , yeah maybe, at certain times, its a nice thing

I think it’s an effect that, unless you’re doing solo ambient soundscapes, you have to use in a subtle way. And much like a good overdrive, you need to ‘tune’ it, tonally speaking, to your bass a bit more than other effects.

It’s very easy to kill your tone in a mix, but get it right and it can be an incredible enhancer. I primarily use it in synth bass style tones (though I admittedly use short rhythmic delays more now), or on fretless. But a good sounding subtle reverb absolutely has its place!

I just took delivery of a CMC Prototype V2. It's a great tube/amp sounding low to mid gain drive, with some great tone shaping controls. Similar to the OG Jive in some ways (though a less fuzzy character), but with more control over the drive sound.

I apologise for not providing pictures.

I have never really used reverb on bass before.  I have played with the TC Infinite as a practicing tool and thats where I first tried it.  So I think reverb can sound great but it has its place and like you said above it has to be subtle, less is more type of thing.  I think it sounds great and I am planning to use it with fretless and one of the bands I play in is a country band and in the more slow and more accustinc songs I was hoping to add subtle reverb.

As in the sound I dont have much to compare to (I have Wampler Ethereal for guitar mostly but I did try it on bass just to see if I would want to explore it further) and I think its great.  I like it that I can mix the signals and then the size of the reverb.  I do find the bass and treble subtle but I need to explore it more.  But it really does add that something in quieter songs.  Now the extra features, I really like the 'Size' and I can see myself exploring that.  Build up sound scapes etc.  The one I can see myself using is having the 'Exp' knob at 12 o'clock which allows you to play a note and it slowly trails off as you build up other sounds as you add if that makes sense.  Fully clockwise its infinite which can sound really interesting such as ending songs etc.

I am still trying to figure 'In Lvl' out and I have emailed Taylor about it.  I thought it was like the TC Infinite, you could play a note/chord and that would sound infinite and you could then play over it but its not the case or at least I am not able to recreate it.

But for the sound and the 'Size' function its a keeper for me.

As I recall, and i only saw demos of the 6 knob, the in lvl works a bit more like a mix, in that it allows you to control how much bass signal hits the reverb, at one end you have no reverb at all, just clean, and at the other end, you have full reverb. It isn’t a mix though per se, as it maintains ‘trails’. So if you ramp up the decay of the reverb, you can swell it in as you play, then pull the pedal back to stop more reverb appearing as you keep playing over the decaying trails.

Of course, I may have misunderstood that myself as it wasn’t a feature of the version I had.

You are probably right since I have it set quite subtle so even when I have the Exp fully open the trail will disapear quicker than I thought.  Maybe other owners/users can chime in and set it straight for us.

Luv 'em or hate them, I bought one of these from the big Az, was £20!? I was wanting a pre-amp so I could plug my BG into the line level computer interface, this does it. I also use the XLR into my mixer desk which is also connected to my computer audio interface at line level.

For my purpose there is a lot of tonal variation to be had 🙂 I can get all kinds of BG tones. There is some "distortion" available when Drive is >90%. There's so many variations of distortions, this is just one. My BG is always very boomy bassy on the E, I can easily "correct" that with this unit. I'd need to measure the current drawing from the PP3, anyway I now use a mains PSU.

By using this unit, I am trying various VST fx to see what works for me, knowing the impedances are correctly "matched", so even in bypass I believe this unit still presents the correct Z to my passive BG.
