Thomann ships it thrice cheaper. And Muziker ships it for free. But thanks anyway I'm actually tempted to grab Disorder and Komorebi - the latter offers Chorus and Flanger tones, and has LFO. Quote

I’d assumed UK given that the majority of folks on here are from there. 1 1 Quote
Paddy777 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Got this through the post on Saturday - wow! Very impressed with it so far, really adds a little bit of magic to your tone - I had the mk1 a while ago but this is a pretty big upgrade on that - highly recommended 5 Quote
Mr_McBride Posted September 8 Posted September 8 The newest pedal on my board is the Empress Bass ParaEQ (the purple pedal): 6 Quote
LukeFRC Posted Saturday at 12:23 Posted Saturday at 12:23 while testing It would be rude not to try all 4 at the same time wouldn’t it? 6 Quote
bassbora Posted yesterday at 15:26 Posted yesterday at 15:26 Probably not the most exciting pedal for bass players. I wanted to add a bit of reverb to a band that plays a bit accustic and quiet at times so I thought adding the reverb as an option to the chorus already on the board. I am looking forward to exploring the possibilities of this pedal. 6 Quote

I had the original 5 knob version, and it's hands down my second favourite sounding reverb on bass (and way more versatile than my first pick - Neunaber Wet, which just sounds epic). I was really tempted by this newer version, but the cost just felt a bit too prohibitive. Quote

I always thought a Hard No to Reverb on Bass, but the FTK Audio Fretless Pedal I purchased recently has it and , yeah maybe, at certain times, its a nice thing 1 Quote

And much like a good overdrive, you need to ‘tune’ it, tonally speaking, to your bass a bit more than other effects. It’s very easy to kill your tone in a mix, but get it right and it can be an incredible enhancer. I primarily use it in synth bass style tones (though I admittedly use short rhythmic delays more now), or on fretless. But a good sounding subtle reverb absolutely has its place! bassist_lewis Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I just took delivery of a CMC Prototype V2. It's a great tube/amp sounding low to mid gain drive, with some great tone shaping controls. Similar to the OG Jive in some ways (though a less fuzzy character), but with more control over the drive sound. I apologise for not providing pictures. 1 Quote
