Looks nasty I know, nothing to do with vibration, there was small gaps in the wood housing, just filled them in so the unit was flush and tight, I'm a heavy handed Tw8t when it comes to loading in and out! Very. 4x10 beams the tone while swamping the stage with lows. A vertical stack of tens beams only a tiny bit so you get a much better monitor. alexa3020 Posted June 13, 2023 Share Posted June 13, 2023 (edited) I bought a second bf 210s to go with my ABM 600 and to be honest I was a little underwhelmed. It didn't give me the volume and presence boost I was expecting - I put that down to having to run them at 12ohms and maybe never needing to drive the amp to a volume where it would have made a difference. I also tried stacking them vertically on top of each other but I actually think the dispersion on those cabs is so good that it didn't make too much difference. So I felt like I'd wasted my money and moved the cab on. Luckily the cabs retain their value quite well, so I didn't take too much of a loss. That was my experience if that helps. Had a band leader who complained about my amp being so big. He also complained about my use of a Six String bass as if he could tell the difference on sound alone. Meanwhile he had a Bunch of instruments splayed around him that he actually never played! He was also the weakest member of the band!
