FS: Fender MIJ Precision Fretless (maple board) - *SOLD*

Beautiful bass but having decided to keep my Enfield Fretless it was only a matter of time....

Stunning looks and curves (some Precisions just have better curves than others, this is very much one of the former), the board is in very good condition which takes very very low action for an FL. The bass has a highly responsive tonal palette that moves from mellow to snarly with just a few extra twitches of the right hand finger muscles. As Precisions go, this is a very very good example.

I'll let the photos tell the story. Price is pretty firm (actually less than I paid but that's another story entirely), and having just sunk some money into a new (and metal) double bass, I really do need cash and not trades at present

Lovely original tweed hard case included. Collection from Whitstable/meet-up in London/SE preferred but courier is of course also and option

Outstanding curves!  An absolute beauty - I can't stand blocky/chunky shaping on Ps, but this one looks divine.

Agreed! It wasn't until I found myself owning a really blocky late 70's Precision that I started to appreciate the differences, and that over and above gaps in neck pockets and misaligned PUPs, there were other things that could go wrong at the Fender factory!

They are very very well made basses, the necks are in my opinion much better than those on the original 70's US models on which the instrument is based (I've owned a few of them also). This particular instrument is also extremely resonant, which again in my experience, was rarely the case with the originals :(

An unlined, fretless, P Bass in a natural finish. Simplicity itself - absolutely beautiful!

I agree, it's about as simple a bass as can be conceived, and it's a beautiful simplicity 👍

what a beautiful bass. ash body? this fretted would make me go crazy.  good luck on the sale.

Fretting it would of course reduce the element of simplicity :)

Wow that is amazing, I ve been looking for an unlined fretless maple precision and had no idea they ever made MIJ model... Yours is exquisitely beautiful!!!

I would gladly take this lovely bass off your hands in a heartbeat but I am outside of the UK, in Belgium 😭😭😭... best of luck with the sale 👍

My thoughts entirely!

That makes at least two Belgian-based fretless bass players mega frustrated with that Brex** decision.

The bass looks a beauty.
