Top of amp or on floor kind of guy

How many who run always on pedals or say tuner / wireless put them on top of the amp instead of on the floor or on a pedalboard on the floor ?

 

I know the obvious why put foot pedals off the floor when you need to stand on them but for some amps you can use the tuner out / mute and leave tuner ON and so on. 
 

So folks how do you guys choose to place your always on pedals etc

I don't gig but I'm always moving my toys from floor to top of amp and then back again but not using effects really only a boss lmb-3 and tuner so they live on the amp

Out of the way but where I can get to them. Given I usuually have little space to work with, and even less control over it, that is challenging sometimes. More usually preamp stuff is on top of the amp/ cab but all iterations are in the playbook.

Floor space is often at a premium so I place my wireless and tuner on top of the amp. I don't wear my glasses on stage, so having the tuner a little closer to head height also helps me see it more clearly!

The only thing that usually lives on top of my amp is my DI box. Everything else goes on the floor, even if they are always on. I want to be able to switch things in and out easily.

I actually have both. I have a tuner in the amp rack and one on the board. 

 

The board just has a switcher on it and I don't need it for every gig so the duplication is occasional.

For gigging as my tuner is on the pedalboard it’s floor. At home everything on to of the amp for easy adjustments.

There's only a tuner and an overdrive pedal at most, so even when I'm having to Bill Wyman it every 5 minutes because I've ended up on the route to the bog again, I still manage to have the pedals on the floor in front of me.

Only use a Sansamp Bass Driver as a DI so it goes on the floor, hidden under some lighting where our violinist can’t stand on it. 😆

I used to have a little peddle board, then went to a rack rig with a foot switch board (the Line 6 Bass Pod XT Pro) which meant I ran the only proper pedal I still have , a boss bass chorus, off the switchable FX loop for each patch, so it went on top of the rack, the wireless receiver went next to it, all powered from the anti-surge mains board in the back of the rack, very neat. If I ever go back to gigging regularly, I'll do something similar, as it makes for a very easy set-up and strike and keeps cables to an absolute minimum on the floor.

 

Currently I have a QSC K12.2 and an HX Stomp, so it all goes on the floor in front of me with the only cables running to the bass.
