Already showed here, but it’s my new Leduc Masterpiece Fretless, one of the most beautiful. The sounds is just out of this world.

I owned and played several very good fretless (Pedulla, Le Fay, Laurus, ACG, FBass, Status, Noguera, ESP, Takamine, others Leduc, etc…) and for me it’s just THE BEST OF THEM.

And woods are so incredible on it, it’s a gem.

Thank you very, very much @Hellzero.

Nice work dude!  Sounds great, and what a looker too!

Must admit, after listening to the intro of the first track, I did have a quick glance at who mixed the track and did a little smile to myself :D

Took advantage of a rare bit of garden sunshine for a quick snap.

To suit my preferred playing style/position, I've added a dummy pickup ramp made of ebony I had made by Chris at Alpher Instruments a while ago that I never used.  Works well 🙂

(don't panic, the screws are part of the aesthetic, it's held down with tape 😉)

Try to put the strap the other way round on the upper horn, to the front not the rear, I always found the bass was better balanced this way. 😉

Nice photo, that said.

I would have agreed with you without trying it as it looks like it would pull the body away from you going under, but I actually found going over knocked the balance a bit off for me. Not sure if its just the strap or the way I wear it, but it was tugging the top horn up too much, much preferred it this way. Wish I could have it the other way, as it would mean I could use the same strap on both basses!

Another excuse for a snap of this beauty, but I posted a thread others may have missed looking for a high quality case that fits headless basses well, and can confirm that the Mono Vertigo guitar case is a perfect fit for mine.  Expensive but can highly recommend!

There's a 4-string U-bass for sale in the Netherlands at the moment, seller claims it's a prototype:

Not really a prototype, but a 1992 model, when the design was still not (quite) definitive.

There's also its sibling fretted version that was sold for peanuts a few months ago, but needed a lot of work that João Godinho in Luxemburg did under Christophe Leduc remote supervision.
