I love the tone!

i know its mostly in the fingers, but any ideas to help achieve that on my graphic eq?
Are you using a high end Jazz and an EBS head (HD350/TD650) ?
Pretty standard tone from that combination. Sure the DI is post eq on that recording.
Not my thing musically but can appreciate what she does, and she nails it.

I have no great love for the music itself, but she is good! Like Michael Manring, she smiles when playing, as if to say just how much fun it is to be able to do this, rather than coming across as a smart-arse.
She enjoys it! More power to her.

And when you can play like that, who cares what you look like? Jaco was no oil painting...

good point. manages to play jazz without looking the like she is completely up herself ^_^

probably one of the reasons i think she's alright.
