SOLD (pending) - Lakland Skyline 44-60 (jazz) - trans white swamp ash body, rosewood neck. £550 £650 Sheffield

This lovely bass is in outstanding condition and plays great, having been set up by Jon Shuker. Comes with a Lakland gig bag.

There a couple of really small marks on the back of the neck; not an issue but mentioning for completeness (see the pictures). Some very light normal swirling on the body in places but no buckle rash.

Collection from Sheffield preferred. However, I can probably meet up/drop off somewhere between Sheffield and Bath (and the surrounding areas).

Depending on location, I can send with @walshy’s trusted man-with-a-van guy for £50-70.

For an additional £100 I can sell this with the Fender hard case pictured.

Weight is approximately 4.35kg.

Thanks, it is indeed. Tempting to keep it but if I keep a jazz, I want blocks and binding. (Wondering if I could just get Lakland to make another neck to fit.)

Looks nice. There was a Lakland DJ4 neck on a facebook group earlier this week but I snagged it myself. Debating what to do with it still

Yep, that was the one. I saw the ad very quickly and jumped on it.  I had a maple boarded DJ4 some time back and regretted selling it as the neck was so good. I've a MIJ 62 body that I'll probably but in on for a bitsa.

No, build is another Lakland but it’s with Jon currently and he’s mega busy.

Got my PJ bass back from the luthier now so really don’t need this any more.

Put rounds back on this and it sounds wonderful. I’d totally keep this if it had a blocked/bound neck. Plays way better than the Fenders I’ve had.

No idea, I guess the lack of postage. Honestly, the last few basses I’ve sold have all been via eBay and for significantly more than I had them listed here for. 🤷🏻

If this had blocks and binding, there’s no way I’d sell it but I’m a sucker for aesthetics.
