Here's my cheapo, bought Feb 14 HB PJ Bass, you can clearly see how the pattern has worn off due to my thumb resting on it, maybe for 24 hours in total? I've seen some horrible cheap stuff so if the bass is good, it is worth paying that bit extra, IMO to get what you want. The Jazz bass guard is a perfect vintage spec Fender Jazz bass pickguard, but I need it to be without the center screw hole for my custom project.
