Worry not, Lozz. I am slimming down my collection, not adding to it. Think of it as mid-life crisis moment (the big 5-0 approaches in July, eeek).

Haha... you're old :P

Looks amazing and I'd love to hear how it sounds but the Thumb for me is a flawed design as you've got to hold the thing up as you play it. Tried a few in my time and they are so neck heavy it's ridiculous. Shame the fortress died a death as although a bit funny looking, it was their most comfortable design to play imo.

As a fender fan boy and avowed hater of coffee table fancy wooden tops I should hate this bass. But I don't. I really think its a great looking piece.

I liked these basses when they were current , and they are much lighter than a regular Thumb . Beautiful , and if it's a Warwick it will sound great . I'd have one . In fact , I could do with one right now .

It was all a hollow empty sham Chris

I'm starting to see that only too clearly now mate. First it was that pig ugly horrible semi-acoustic imposter of a well P*******n Bass (I won't use the word in full so as not to offend by linking the one to the other in print), now this. You've certainly outed yourself here Clarky, I'll have to think very carefully about any future dealings with you.

PS, Chris, there was a time when I not only played a Warwick Thumb, but it had (gasp) 5 strings too ....

Me too

That would take a team of lawyers several years to untangle. Shall we simply call it quits with just your '71 Precision outstanding? I can collect at the weekend?

This is not gonna work out, guys. We need peace restored as quickly as possible. You need a mediator.
Send me all the stuff you've had dealings with, and I will sort you guys out.
In the mean time remember: "he's not your enemy - just your adversary".

How do you find time to be Mayor Of London and play music as well ? Will you be challenging David Cameron for leadership of the Conservative Party ? And , most importantly , do you recognise this woman :

...and this baby ?

Basschat deserves answers !

Surely you mean how do I find time to present a book club on TV with Richard Madely?

In that case you need to have a word with your daughter here :

...and break the news to her that she isn't a celebrity , has no discernable talents except being the offspring of Richard and Judy , and would be better off looking for a proper job .

Here's her equally dodgy sister, my Bleached Blonde. No neck dive, wonderful sounds. Since I picked her up, I've not played with any other
