This is an 8x18 subwoofer home cinema set up. It must literally shake the foundations of his house. Here’s the whole thread - http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=976075

If I had:

a. the arms
b. the money
c. the storage space, and
d. the musical need

I'd buy them.

But I don't. :)

For anyone seriously considering this (really? are your SURE?), I bought a V-Type head off this dude a few years back, he drove down from Derbyshire to Gatwick and met me to hand it over, for the princely sum of £10. Good guy, very interesting stories!
Its not unusual. Lots of 4x15 cabs were made in the 60's and 70's. Thin stringers used 4x12's, bass players used 4x15's.
I remember an interview with Roger Glover where he talked about the Deep Purple Days. He and Ritchie Blackmore both had a set of Moog Taurus pedals hooked up to 4 x 15s and would have volume battles onstage. No wonder they were in the Guinness book of records or something for loudest ever gig. However, that's an award I thinkManowar snatched from them.
