So it arrived today just in time for my birthday tomorrow!

The specs are based on the JJ Burnel Signature P Bass but just a different colour body and pickguard

3 Piece Ash Body (Dense Ash in the middle with Lighter Swamp Ash wings)

Wide but flat 60s style Precision Neck (exactly like my old Fender Pino Custom Shop) with Satin finish

Kent Armstrong Pickups (Slightly Overwound)

Jumbo fretwire

Two way adjustable truss rod, neck heel end adjustable

Dual carbon fibre neck reinforcement

Gotoh Tuners + Bridge

Neat little truss rod cover

That looks absolutely stunning. I've been thinking about getting a Precision style bass & this would be just perfect (if it were not for the fact that it's probably way out of my price range).

It's certainly a great-looking bass... just had a look at the Shuker site, and they're not as wildly expensive as you'd think.
Mind you, that depends what you're thinking, of course. ;)

Yep definitely not as much as you would think ;)

Cheaper than a Fender American Vintage ;)

I heard a little rumour that one may have to wait, ah... quite some time between order and receipt... is this true? :)
To be honest it depends on the complexity of the build I think (and how busy he is), normal P bass about 5 months, but they are definitely worth the wait!

I was thinking less than £400. :)
I had a look at the Shuker site too, and all the basses are more than I have ever spent, or will ever spend, on a bass.
Great prices for what you get though, especially when compared to current US Fender prices.

For a custom bass? You'd be hard pressed, methinks. :)

I'm fully aware of that.
I was merely stating that £400 is the most I could possibly spend on a bass given my current financial situation, not what I thought it cost.

Yes, I understand. I believe Wales has been hit particularly hard by the recession.
