Who says an L-2000 has too many switches?

I wonder how many of these stated combinations are A: musically useful and B: the same as some other setting.

omg, my g&l sb1 is too complex, do not see why it has two control knobs, only ever use them full on :) in fact is the only way I use basses and guitars, all controls full on, am I missing something (and do not say brain,taste,tone,hearing etc. as I will be upset)
