1. Thank you Paulhauser, I'll try emailing Warwick
2. Hello basschatters, I've recently seen a 1990 Warwick Thumb NT lined fretless, do you think the lines have been added? I've always seen WT NTs with unlined fretboard...
3. Hello Basschatters! This big boy is looking for a new home...Some improvements have been made, it comes with a fantastic East J-Retro preamp, all the tuners have been replaced, now it sports a brand new set of reliable and stable Gotoh GB7 with an Hipshot detuner on the lower string. On top I'll put 3 sets of Ken Smith strings and a large Planet Waves strap. Shipping included within a Warwick hard case, a little bit large for the bass but I will carefully handle it inside and outside. Sadly the previous owner has wiped the Conklin logo off the headstock (...?...) but the bass is in a very good shape and sounds terrific! Not too heavy and well balanced, straight and fast fretboard.

5. I'm under a MASSIVE GAS attack! :-)
6. Hello, does anyone knows if there was a satin finish among the MC940 basses? Thank you. Lorenzo

9.
Do any women who take part have any hope of winning something if they choose not to show their legs (or other assets)? That girl in one of the four photos is half-naked, as opposed to the three fully clothed guys, which makes me slightly uneasy. I'm totally happy to wear very skimpy outfits in the summer or for an evening out and similar, but I think that on this occasion we should all be funny, or good-looking, or awesome, but fully clothed.
I absolutely agree...
10. Hello folks, here I've got an Hipshot Xtender bass detuner, chrome finish, for lefty basses or for the treble side of right handed basses (i.e. you can replace the G or C key). Not "as new" but REALLY NEW, never out of his box, the seller has sent me the wrong finish, I wanted a black one, and now it's too late to make a swap...gasp! I am asking £ 49 shipping included (registered mail). Cheers. Lorenzo
11. Yes, prices are all VAT included as written in the home page: All prices in our U.K. International Cyberstore include 20% British VAT
12. Surfing the net today I've found a site called faststringsDOTcom, lot of instructional DVD to download, for free or not, if you want a faster download. Well, this one seems to be different from the "torrent/emule way" but...is it legal? If yes, will the download quality be as high as the DVD? Has anyone tried? Oh, just in time: happy new year basschatters :-)
13. Just bought a Dean 12 string bass from Muzz, item as described, well packaged, no problems at all! He is friendly and helpful, excellent comms, definitely would recommend.
14. Things you play for money? Things I don't! The best paid gig was a new year's day, way back in time, when I was called just to be on stage to make believe that I was playing... Ahem, can I say shame on me? :-)
15. Yeah, you can set the number of repetitions through the feedback knob, but it will not stop the delayed notes when you play another one...ehm...hope I clearly explained ained ained ained :-)

17.
Sometimes. Sometimes it's a bit of wood, or a bit of bone, or a bit of carbon graphite, or a bit of metal. Simple answer is you use what's right for the song.
Right, it's another sound, pick, pluck, thumb, tap, slap, strum...it's your choice and a matter of taste But...ehm...who's gonna say what's right for the song? :-) If you use downstrokes only, then the plectrum could be very fatiguing and not so easy for fast songs...
18.
I'd go for this.... Stagelight! Transferrable between basses (& other instruments) too!
In a really dark live set these saved me :-) http://www.amazon.com/LightVision-Safety-Glasses-Lights-AntiFog/dp/B003DXNFVC/ref=sr_1_sc_5?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1324142326&sr=1-5-spell here's another cheap solution: http://www.fretlord.com/fretoptix.htm
