Blademan_98
Really great song. I loved the bass part on that recording. Headphones on and big grin
Clarky
Lovely tone - amazingly upright like for an electric At risk of going OT slightly, here's a guy I spotted on Youtube who is amazing on a fretless Rick http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2-88-nlIgg&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL
Mykesbass
Loved it - going to try and persuade the band to consider it!!!
bassmachine2112
So much for a Rick being a one trick pony, great upright sound. Very full sound. Great band Lindisfarne.
2pods
Great stuff ! I really enjoyed playing this, way back when. Lindisfarne were one of my all time faves.
RhysP
Haven't heard that for a while. What a great song. Those early Lindisfarne LPs were played all the time in my house when I was growing up.
Bassman Sam
I remember seeing Lindisfarne in the early '70's headlining in at the Green's Playhouse in Glasgow. I was so blown away by the sound from the bass live, I saved up and bought a S/H Rick 4001 fretless 12 months later. BTW, the support band was Genesis who were promoting the Foxtrot album. So, at a guess, it must have been around '72 - '73. Edited November 23, 2011 by Bassman Sam
