I think it maybe one of the "Foto-Flame" basses. It's not real flammed wood but a "photo" of flammed wood, stuck to the body and painted, then lacquered over. [/quote] I've got a late 70's (black/black/rosewood) which hasn't done that but my friend bought a near immaculate 79 and nearly before our eyes as we took it out of the case, the bottom of the body started turning that milky blue colour.
