  1. Wow, if it could only talk.... bet it could tell some great stories.
  2. I'm sure I just got unlucky, other reports are that they're great so don't let my experience put you off @Marc S. You've nothing to lose if you buy new. Just don't get a b-stock from gear4music in the next few weeks/months I actually don't mind the logo (though it's a bit hard to read the writing) and the headstock shape is really nice.
  3. Maybe with a good set up (i.e. frets levelling as well) but I've been burned badly with this kind of stuff before so I'm just not getting involved. That's the good part of buying new, especially online, you can just return it and not argue too much why it's a lemon.
  4. Well it arrived and I must say I like it more than I thought I would, nice metallic sparkle to it. Lightweight too, but with a bit of neck dive. Didn't measure it but nut width definitely wider than a Jazz. _Really_ nice satin neck, frets ends well finished. Now the bad parts: action was obscenely high. When I lowered it by two full turn (and still too high) frets started buzzing here and there, despite there being more than enough neck relief and nut slots not cut particularly low. That rung alarm bells for me, so I've packed it up and started the return. Shame.
  5. I appear to have accidentally bought one of these. Not sure how that happened. 🤷‍♂️ Joking aside, not crazy about the colour. Hoping it looks better in the flesh, so to speak.
  6. Love that satin finish and pickguard are great. Hell of a lot of bass for the money. Really regret returning my blonde P from this range.
  7. On of these (the TM version) has been my weapon of choice for well over a year now. A wonderful sounding instrument, and about as light as you're ever going to get with a traditional style bass.
  8. Dammit someone buy this to remove temptation!
  9. Amoon American sound. Preamp pedal that’s kinda like a Fender tone stack. £35 delivered. It’s the bronze coloured one at the top right.
  10. Well used but Decent condition with a few paint chips. Have used marker pen to cover the more obvious ones. one bit of the Velcro is a bit loose but can be glued back down. Mounted underneath is the superb Cioks DC10. You will see it I mounted it well and even has the stand-offs give the power input some clearance. It uses the universal IEC I.e. kettle lead ( not included), which is great. have the original box with all (as far as I can tell) the extra power connections. even included the additional feet I bought to raise up the pedaltrain to give this clearance, which I ended up not needing. Also included is a decent Thomann gig bag. Fairly new but still he pocket stitching has come a little loose. It’s perfectly decent though. £175 delivered to mainland UK or can be collected for slight discount. £125 for DC10 on its own £65 for pedal train on its own (with bag) hit me up with offers, but no silly ones, please
  11. Great sized Pedal train mini in good condition with bag. Cioks DC5 mounted underneath with all accessories and power cable. pedal train is drilled to fit Cioks underneath but only one ended up lining up. However, this is rock solid and extra hole cannot be seen once pedals are on. I added white cable clips on top and underneath, but these can be removed and residue removed with alcohol or acetone. £120 delivered to UK. £90 for DC5 on its own £40 for pedal train on its own
  12. Would trade for something fairly lightweight with a P or MM pickup. 4 string only.
  13. That's what I did.
  14. I've managed to use my preferred authentication app: Authy.
  15. Started making a popping sound while on last weekend. The guy that sells the kit is usually very helpful but I put my tc compressor on the board and that’s good enough for me. Lots of paint chips but has the proper ‘transfer’ with the labels on them. £10 delivered
  16. Now £125 (OVNO) + delivery Very nice Squier Precision 5-string bass. I bought this to do the odd song my Hipshot Xtender wouldn’t reach. Decided I would just use a Digitech Drop instead. No chips, scratches or dings that I can see, other than on the headstock, as pictured. Somewhere between 4.5 and 5 kg‘s. Has two jazz pickups as opposed to the usual precision in the middle position. I bought a precision because I tried a Ibanez five string and found it very cramped between the B and E strings at the nut. This being a P, it's a little wider and I find that more comfortable. Front to back at first fret is 20-21mm. The bridge volume was temperamental so I replaced the entire loom with a custom made solder less one. Prefer collection but can post. I imagine the cost of this will be about £30 to mainland UK.
  17. Not able to see attachment, please see screenshot
  18. Frankly surprised this is still here after 18 hours; were it not collection only I would have had to snap up this stonking bargain. @gafbass02 if you change you mind on that, give me a shout please.
  19. Lovely bass. I'm going to be "that guy" and ask for the exact weight... sorry.
  20. You need the remote initially to set it up.
  21. I'd like to walk away with these. 🥁 PMd
  22. I’d forgotten all about this. Well this is long gone, no idea where so I’ll withdraw this.
