1. Get a Triangle player at the next gig,I gaurantee the audience will remember it.
 2. What,I'm the first person to say triangle?
 3.
I read somewhere that Hulk Hogan was recruited for wrestling after being spotted playing bass with his band in a bar in the US. I wonder if he's here on BC...
I have seen the Hulkster playing bass on WWF. Not that I watch wrestling,of course.
 4.
No, it wasn't easy but after an hour of them taking the p**s out of me for having the audacity to like different types of music to them, I was finally pushed over the edge. I was hoping to stay friends, but they've spent most of this evening having a dig at my girlfriend on facebook, so I'll probably be breaking some jaws tomorrow.... As someone on here said a few days ago "life's too short to play in a band where you're not happy" or words to that effect!
And how old are these people?
 5.
Erm....my left shoulder
Right shoulder.... The rib cage contour also works well as a b*llock rest.
 6.
All I'd add antiperspirant / deodorant to that, but otherwise perfect.
What's deoderant?
 7. Decibel levels and ear damage standards vary from country to country, and from individual to individual. As a general rule,if you're exposing yourself (ooer) to 90db for more than an hour at a time regularly, don't expect to be listening to the music you recorded in your 20's when you're in the old folks home.Simple answer? get a db meter and find out. When my band were clocked at 125db in the rehersal room I started wearing earplugs.I can now have conversations with the drummer that he has trouble hearing.Cymbals are louder than Marshalls. 8.
Is that your usual defence?
Keeps the nostrils clean.
 9. Middle aged Punk Rocker.Leo may have called it a rib cage cutaway,he was wrong,it's a b*llock rest.Precision as low as I can get it,hammer the 4 strings of fury and surprise people with the ( very ) occasional moments of subtlety.
 10. Having just checked my case,I'd like to add - Battery tester Swiss Army knife Empty half bottle of brandy 13 year old chewing gum A small baggy of what I assume is washing powder.
 11. I think it was Ike Turner who always had a briefcase with $2000 and a Colt.45.That pretty much covers all occasions..
 12. No fights? Better luck next time.... Seriously though,I had a thirteen year lay off from gigging,so I know how it feels!
 13. Another bass ( or at least a set of strings) A hard case (trust not those flimsy soft cases) A stand Spare leads Batteries as appropriate Nail clippers and a nail file ( ever broke a nail before a gig?) An extension lead. A towel.
 14.
A friend of mine believes the ash trays are part of the pick ups and add something to the sound, rather than just decorative.
Does he have a Rickenbacker? Ironically, the first thing I did when I got my first '78 Fender P was take the the useless things off.Still got them somewhere.
 15.
When you first started playing did you realise the body was made out of wood? I didn't
How long did it take you to figure it out?
 16. I've only got experience with the Passive EMG's,and I can't say I've noticed a great deal of difference to the originals.(Tokai). As you've already got an active bass then I think that would be a step backwards. They do look the part though.
 17.
I use to think horses laid onions.
That explains where onions come from, but I'm still concerned about cheese.
 18.
Looks like you're on your own on this one Wayne PS, the moon is not made of cheese - fact
Whoa - what? Where does cheese come from then? Eh?
 19. Errrr yes,I knew my bass was made of wood. What sort of wood a Kay EB copy was made if is open to debate though..
 20. Tokai Thunderbird,Sofa from Sue Ryder, cat from wherever cats come from.Sofa customised with arm covers from the mother in law,cat customised by removal of testicles.Stock bass.
 21.
...after a drunken gig you could be tempted to ride the cab down a road
A flight case is needed for the full effect.
 22. My understanding was that the Mexican Fenders were actually US parts shipped to Mexico for assembly, where the lower labour costs made the product cheaper?
