Excellent condition, built like a tank and weighs about the same. However it has casters which make it easy to move around. 400W 4ohm mono, or you can bi-amp one working the 15' the other working all the others. Both 8ohm Looking for £425 will need to collect, I am 5 mins off M74 at Lockerbie. But can deliver reasonable distance for petrol money. Worth buying this just to see your guitarists face when you wheel this in to rehearsals. Cheers Ash.
2. Hi Chris, Me again, i looking at some reviews for the SVP, and it was suggested to put a 7025 in one position can't remember which, but will be east to find it will reduce the noise made by the SVP. Cheers Ash.
3. Why not sell all three, and buy a leftie P bass. If you do the job yourself you could balls it up, If someone does it for you it will cost

8. So what level should the kick be compared to the snare.
9.
DB needs a weighting. And frequencies effect the meters differently.
So 90db snare wont be the same as a 90db kick? is there any way round this. Would it be best to just do it by ear then?
10. After reading on here recently about soundchecking, somebody said to get the bass level with the kick drum and the guitar to be on level with the snare. So this is what i thought i would try and do, and would like to know if it makes sense. I have downloaded a db meter to my phone, and will get the bass and guitar levels in line with the drums. However i will need a reference point for the kick drum level against the snare. What is an approximate level of kick compared to the snare? [ in db's] After these levels are set, it's just a case of sitting the vocals on top of everything. This will stop the ' im not loud enough, your to loud' arguement, usually started by our guitarist. This should make soundchecking quick and easy. So do you think this is possible, or am i just a gibbering idiot? Cheers Ash.

15. Cheers i'll give it a try. Couldn't find it on you tube or any tab sight.
16. Can anyone help me with the bass intro. Sounds easy enough but i can't figure it out. Cheers Ash.
17. We found that during the guitar solos the sound dropped, so i got a Akai Unibass, which fills out the solos nicely if you keep it nice and simple.
18. Molly's chambers, Kings of Leon. Nice and simple.
tube screamer will fit fine inside a 110 x 60mm enc. if you are neat with your wiring and snug with your jack plug and footswitch positions, Not sure what size the red ranger pcb is.
It's actually slightly smaller than the Tube screamer, so i'll get two 110 x 60. And try and keep things neat and tidy. cheers Ash

Hi, i'm about to attempt my first home built effects pedals. I have bought a Tube screamer and Red ranger PCBs from Tonepad, and have been buying the components from Small Bear but have run into some problems with Capacitor values. The diagrams from Tonepad show capacitors in uF [ Microfarad ] and pF [ Picofarad ]. However the values on Small Bear are nearly all in mF [ Milifarad ]. I converted these all to mF, larger values were ok to find but the smaller ones eg 0.047uF converted to 0.000047. The smallest value in mF available was 0.001mF. The pF values are even worse 51pF is 0.000000051mF. Where am i going wrong? Also one of the capacitors is non-polorised, which i could not find. Would a polorised work the same. What does Tant mean in regards to capacitors. What will be the best size of enclosures to use with these pedals. And finally what is the difference between symetrical and asymetrical clipping diodes. I am sure there is a simple answer to most of these problems but i am stumped if i can find them. cheers in advance Ash.
22. I purchased a bass from Pueblo [i think] in Mexico. It took 2 days to arrive in U.K. via Mexico city and Clevland, and 3 days to travel 200 miles from Manchester to Scotland.

24. Basses are better looking than guitars, with one exception. The White Falcon. Which is just stunning.
