1. Ok My board currently goes > Radial BigShot TU2 Boss Chorus Demeter Opto compulator Ebs Octa Bass Ebs Dyna Verb Ive done a few gigs with this set up, and just feel it misses a Dist or overdriven sound. I used to use a EHX microsynth, but my synth sounds are now taken care of by a Moog Little Phatty. The problem is, is that i have owned many many dist/over pedals, but have found many of the same flaws in all of them. None of them seem to cut through or if they do, all the arse end disappears. Thus far i have owned... Boss ODB3 ZVEX Wooly Mammoth Fulltone Bassdrive DHA valve thing EHX bass big muff pi Sansamp Bass Driver Am i missing something? or do you think i just don't like distortion on bass, and should give up on it lol?
  2. nice easy transaction, quick postage and good comms. Cheers
  3. really really cool mate and the see through scratchplate means you can almost instantly diagnose any electrical faults!
  4. I'm all about the bright sound for me.. but i love hearing a bass player sounding warm and thuddy
  5. Thanks Its a pair of nordstrand fat stacks, with shukers own 2 band preamp
I think thats almost my perfect jazz tone, Slightly raspy but with good fundamentals. What pickups/preamp are in the bass?
Bass is a shuker custom Jazz, glockenklang head (now platypus') and two markbass 4x10's thanks for the kind words:)
Well you just made me feel like a crap player sounded awesome man, and a tastey tone. What bass and rig are you using?
8. Yeah there is a way... Was too occupied with getting the audio to work lol
Nice playing! I assume the iSight cam flips it so you're left handed? Bound to be a way around that - MarloweDK did it the same way so there must be some way to do it!
9. Yeah, theres a live one of the Jazz on there, The will young cover.. I'll see what i can do with a more controlled recording
Of course mate! Loving the new Shukery designs too. The "horn" bass looks a lot like a sketch I sent Jon a while back, after I got my Single Cut Congrats on another shiny new bass. Be cool if you could do a similar style recording with your Shuker Jazz. Cheers, Eude
10. Thankyou.. do you think the tone matches up to normal shukerry standards?
Nice playin' dude
19. i totally agree lol, i was in a lot of trouble for that... shes my missus lol. in my defence, it was supposed to be my solo, which was forgotten about
Good band and good bass player. When the lady was talking it seem like you where soloing over her which I found a bit rude, but that only my opinion. good work
20. cheers guys all feedback is welcome Have uploaded some solo stuff to my channel now, so take a look if you want
  21. i'll donate a pound per part to bass chat for say the first ten
  22. Hey everyone im really trying to dust off my sight reading... does anyone have any notated bass parts they could email me... im talking just easy pop stuff to work on? cheers in advance James
  23. +1 on trying a 1515 I'm a little bit disappointed with my 1212L, i think i expected it to defy the laws of physics. I am still trying to find a 2x12 with as much grunt as the genz benz neox 212 which was just a complete stunner
  24. i did this with my glockenklang preamp and isp preamp the glock preamp had an effects loop you could turn on and off, so thats how i would switch between unfortunately you dont have this luxury with the mark head, im sure a boss LS2 will sort it out though with one of the many configs
  25. JMT3781

    I have ISP

the speakers are neodynium actually, the weight comes from the 1k power amp in the back of the cab though... glad you like it steve
