1. Nah no chord symbols, just the dots in the left hand... Time to get the pencil out lol
2. Ive been booked to dep a show next week for a Mate, an amateur production of a broadway show. I was booked about 4 months ago, and promised the part about 2 months ago. I finally got the part yesterday, for a tuesday dress rehearsal. Turns out the "part" is just the piano book, where the left hand is half bass clef and half treble clef, and switches between the two seemingly at its own leisure.. Gonna be a toughie i think lol, especially since the left hand is mainly playing chords lol
3. cheers... check out my channel too
4. Something Mid heavy.. and efficient to convert all those 30 watts into SPL Shroeder 1212
5. Finally doing this, as am finally well and truly happy with my Gear! Markbass SD1200 4x10 x 2 Moog Little Phatty Shuker Jazz Shuker Bolt on Kopo Lina Pedals..
6. So i suppose those that can deal with the weight are gonna be prone to many a GAS attack in the coming months?
7. I'm just having images of the elephant graveyard in Lion King..
8. another good idea.. In response to the "big first rig".... i have tried this tactic with many parents in the shop.. but they just dont want the kids to have that much volume lol!
9.
The House of Bass...Stokes Croft, Bristol. Give it a year or two..and its all going to be in one huge stack, heavy enough to become a black hole. You wait.
lol Peavey rig causes armageddon
10. I think we all can agree that the lightweight thing has definitely taken off.. If you scour the for sale section here, Heavier stuff always sticks around, and suffers some of the most intense price reductions. Also, lots of music shops seem to be stuck with a pile of dust heavy stuff.. in the shop i work in we now have so much heavy bass gearweve got no room to get some lightweight stuff into stock! So my question is.. where is all this heavy gear gonna end up? Surely there isn't enough rehearsal rooms in the country to contain it all?
11. With the amount of chatter on here about these cabs i woulda thought that eole knew about the baffle design lol! But yeh, its 2 12´s sorry about ic, was in a rush for the flight J

My Gig Rig

I have owned the same rig.. just at different points in my bass journey lol. I use my SD1200 with 2x markbass 4x10´s, and its massive, haven´t turned it up past 3 lol. Wish i´d had the chance to use it with the berg NV412, think it woulda torn apart the ampeg 8x10´s my rig normally gets pitted against at gigs. Anyone else have an SD1200? me and raggy were discussing the very very low serial numbers we both have?
15. had some interest and trade offers, still available
16. i really liked the mike dirnt sig... The shop i work in managed to get one real cheap from fender, so we managed to out it at 399 brand new i think. Great for someone who wanted a 50`s vibe p bass, and didnt mind the star on the back
17. one more Shuker in the South Walsall/North birmingham area. Sounds nice mate, hope the wait isn´t too long, did he give you an ETA?
18. honestly no idea what to say.. Perhaps he should take it on dragons den, get funding to purchase a factory then mass produce them so we can all own one at a fraction of the price of the coveted original! That way, whoever clicks *buy it now* in this auction will be sitting on a gold mine as soon as someone famous plays one of these basses. I think we should all admire his entrepreneurship
19. PM`s replied to still for sale
20. I'd love to... but that means i'd have to get cover for work, and find somewhere to stay in london.. which after a week in norway (most expensive country on the planet) is completely out of the question funds wise lol!
21. I defretted an ibanez RDgr 4 strings that i got secondhand for 90 quid.. was great
22. The overdrive may be caused by the power amp clipping, 100w doesn't really give you much headroom.
23. has quilted pipped it by one vote?
