Have you come up against this attitude?

Not recently. We often change out of the original key to suit the vox. Thing is, some songs need to be in the original key musically for them to work. Maybe you could all just agree to change key and see if he notices
Hi
I am partial to a nice fat Jah sound. There will be plenty on here who can pass on their wisdom on sound, amps, basses, the Olympics and pretty much anything else you can think of.
Have fun
Jerry

Thanks
I remember they brought out some great rock tunes - can't remember what, when or any details but when i was a kid i loved it.
Maybe you could go back and listen to the tunes and to what the original bass player did on the recording. Take that as a starting point for your own lines?

This ^ is why this site trumps all the others.
I am an idiot who steps on his own cables I thread the lead through the strap so it doesn't come out of the bass but stops me in my tracks sometimes. Hate doing it but must do it at least once per gig.
This is the only Rush album that i can still listen to. There is a quality to the songs that seem more permanent than other albums. Red Barchetta, Limelight etc
YYZ is a fantastic track. I can still remember first hearing it and thinking how amazing it was.
My nail it track was always "Sir Duke".
Free bump from a recent convert to the Tribute basses. These are incredible basses - almost identical to the US versions with amazing versatility. I cannot think of anything else at this price point which is half as good.
I have been looking for a previous thread that explained this to help you out but failed - sorry. I know what you mean though. I have the RS212 and RS210 cabs but was thinking about upgrading the amp to a Shuttle 9 and would need another cab to cope with the additional output.
