2.
Thanks for that. One of my claims to fame...I quit a UFO tribute band a few years ago, and Pete played with them a short while later at the Limelight in Crewe. So the story to my mates down the pub is.....Pete Way was my replacement in the band. Cobblers of course, as he just happened to be able to step in on that night, and only for a handful of numbers, but it's a fun story. At least it is in my head.
I met Pete Way a while back at the Limelite. He was playing with Waysted on the saturday but he was so pissed he turned a day a earlier when Dressed To Kill were playing.By 9 o'clock he was asleep in the beer garden.
  3.
At least 50 a year for 20 years?
We've got exactly 50 gigs booked for this year(both my bands)
  4. Just wondering how many gig you guys have done since you started playing? I must be reaching about 800 with the band i'm in now(been with them about 22 years), plus with the other bands i've in, i must getting close to 1000 gigs. w00dy
  5. Why not learn the original bass lines and then add your own parts when your guitarist isn't flying off on a solo or when it'll fit. Doing too much can ruin a song but doing not enough on bass is fookin boring. Hope that helps a bit.

    Hi there!!!!
Hey Woody, Welcome to BC! Teach us noobs some, if you care. F-105? Never heard about it. Let's just hope it's not pointy in any way. best, bert
Well it might be slightly pointy
  7. I'm looking for a machine head for an Ibanez SR 745. I only need one for the G string so i don't want to buy a whole set.The main part of the machine head is ok,it's just the 'head' that's missing. I tried the Ibanez parts site but they told me they don't stock them anymore. Here's a link so you can see what they're like http://www.guitarpartssite.com/Ibanez-2MH1G7032B-p/2mh1g7032b.htm Thanks
  8. Hi guys, i'm w00dy and i've been playing bass for about 24 years. I play in 2 rock covers bands, Disturbin The Peace and Mistreated and i've been recently asked to join an Ozzy/Randy Rhoads tribute band. My weapons of choice are an Ibanez SR745 and an ESP LTD F-105. Amplification is a Line 6 Lowdown LD 300 Pro and an old Peavey Databass combo Cheers w00dy
