  1. That would be THE one
  2. BTW do you take kidneys?
  3. Beautiful Know what you mean about Ray's, struggle to get to grips with neck/pickup placement (made a thumbrest) but they are Beautiful and sound immense.
  4. Well its cool and all but for that price I'll be getting a US Stingray instead of a fancy Sandberg take on it. To each his own and all that.
  5. Want a Kiloton, they look awesome
  6. Don't call me Shirley. Have the 4, amazing.
  7. I could watch these comparison videos for days Thanks
  8. @mikeycrikeythe truss rod, action can't be lowered but is low already? I set up my basses as low as they go, just curious. Also, from looking online, neck is a bit slimmer than the 424 series (traditional 41mm nut P bass)?
  9. Awesome
  10. Fair enough each to his own. I want a US Sterling maybe this year. Sold the classic, kept my Ray34 for now.
  11. You honestly don't miss the lack of contour, I didn't on my classic anyways.....
  12. This is 1000% true. Same links in E. Guitarist playing bass
  13. Maybe the early 90s thumbs were aggressive but this one for example just sounds bright and trebley to my ears 🤷‍♀️ . Just my opinion of course https://youtu.be/CTInbiAPieU
  14. @mikeycrikey, you have some collection of Yamahas!!!
  15. @dub_junkiehave seen the Sabre, its beautiful. That would be some weapon with status neck. I loved the classic but felt like I was fighting it all the time. The Ray34, lighter, 3 band eq, sounds same. No fancy bidseye maple but it was 500 quid!!
  16. Lol no thats just for a Joe dart egg bass
  17. If I had 2 grand id be all over it
  18. Agreed on above, I love my 34 but wish it had a jazz style neck. The classic was a stunner but felt clunky. Wonderful basses but worth the money over a 34? No chance in my opinion.
  19. Ray34 all the way. The Ray4 is ok but the 34 sounds like a US. I had a US classic, absolutely beaut to look it but 34 was just easier to play and sounded the same. I got a used 34 on here for 500 quid. Bargain
  20. Every Stingray should come with a 3D printed thumbrest, though they would probably charge you 500 quid for it.....
