feedback for etienne

Just acquired an Auralax Gamma from Etienne, all good. Very helpful in arranging delivery and great to deal with.
4. Is this a passive set up, hard to see from the pics?
5. Midnight Train - Buddy Guy immediately springs to mind.
6. Just received a beatiful leather strap, nicely packed and good to go. Just what the doctor ordered, many thanks.
7.
Maybe resisting GAS is futile!
Probably; a bit like resisting The Borg I think.
8. For sale is my well looked after [sfx] Micro Thumpinator. It has lived a happy and safe life on my pedalboard and is thus in excellent condition. [s]£80 including postage to UK mainland[/s]. Now sold thanks Thanks for looking.
9. Anybody catch the Selling England By The Pound gig in Manchester last night (or other venues). Excellent show, topped off by The Knife as the encore. Recommended for nostalgic old folk like me.
10. In my case pretty quickly. First attempt was a pre-loved Hartke 500W head and 2x15 cab. All very heavy and not that great for what I was playing. This was followed by an Ashdown set up with a 1x15 and 2x10; and then I discovered Barefaced cabs. Had my Compact and Midget (Gen 2) for around 6 years I think now, possibly longer. I started off powering them with an GK MB500 head, but after a few years discovered the GB Streamliner which is now my gigging head with an Ampeg Portaflex backup/for variety.
11. Can you confirm the length please. If they definitely go to 140cms I'll take one of them.
12. Bump
13. Just acquired a rather lovely NS-94 from Chris who was kind enough to meet me half way to hand over the goods in exchange for Monopoly money. Perfect gent and great to deal with. Thanks again for a lovely bass.
14. I'm sure there will ultimately be no issues, but I get your frustration. That being said, being a 'one man band' cannot be an excuse. Alan at ACG is excellent at updates / responding to queries etc. None of my ACGs have ever taken longer to deliver than the original promise date (up to 12 months for the Custom spec). I guess that is a contributing factor (quality and value for money of the basses of course being high on the list) as to why I go back for more occasionally!
15. Out of interest has anybody tried a Wal back to back with the ACG Uber spec basses with the multi coils and filter EQs, definitely a nod to Wal? I've had a very quick go on a Wal but not long enough to form any kind of objective opinion.
16. Darkglass sold now,
17. BCP-1 now sold too.
18. Korg Pitchblack also sold.
19. UniChorus now sold.
20. I believe these are pretty good. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Revelation-RSGB-Electric-Bass-Guitar-Right-Handed-/391085894367?hash=item5b0e892adf:g:qqMAAOSw34FVBxOj I have just acquired the Greco version (advertised on here) for similar reasons...
21. I just use mine in rotation (otherwise they're out the door).

23.
Why would a P need a blend? I thought the stacked knobs on the P Retro did the following: 1: Top - volume (pull for active mode) Bottom - passive tone 2: Top - mid boost one way, bass&treble boost the other way Bottom - variable frequency
Absolutely correct, major brain fart there. Apologies all round.

25. P Retro is a fine tool and not complex. Volume/blend on one stack and then a cool mids control on t'other. Active/passive too.
