Reduced to £340 Very good condition and perfect working order. Its 700watts into 4 ohms, 460w @ 8ohms and has a traditional transformer which contributes to that ‘oomph’ I’ve kept it in a padded holdall rather than in a bulky flight case which can scuff the car when loading. With the fan on the top you would need at least a 3u unit. Plenty of power and clarity and many features to get the sound you want. Can post if necessary, try it out here or maybe meet within a 20 mile radius. Manual and holdall included of course.

Last bump for this brilliant example. It really feels and plays great, nothing like your modern stuff. I look at Jazz's as being like Strats (single pole pickups) and Precisions as Gibsons (humbucker) so you've got variation with Jazz and a heavier thud with the Precision which is more ideal for rock. I'm playing classic rock at the moment with plenty of work, so I'm using Precisions. Ideally if I changed bands playing various types of music I'd choose the Jazz. I'm selling this bass to do what with the money I don't know. However, if I don't sell this after this bump it's going to stay with me, Although I'm 68 there could be something else round the corner.

Interesting, there's some doubt as to what you've got. However the JV's should be cloth covered wiring from the pickups. If not, the pickups may not be related, rewound or re-tailed. Also you should have the slot in the body for basic truss rod adjustment. PM me pics if you like and Ill verify what you've got. You may not have what you think. Geoff

Trace AH250 GP11 head, plus 2x10 200W, plus 1x15 300W cabs. Amp just serviced by MAJ Kingswinford. The cabs have Trace Celestions and fully working order. Experienced players know what these original heads can give, not only in volume, warmth and spaciousness but projection. However, the cabs were Trace 300W combos of which I cut off the amp section. They don't look bad at all how its done. The reason being that the combos were 13" deep and not the 17" deep which can give problems loading into the car clipping the paintwork etc. Some folk go on about the weight but I'd rather be in pain for a couple of minutes lugging, than wondering throughout the gig why I bought a Class D amp with neos, as there's something missing (IMPexperiences) The whole rig for £225 Welcome to test out here obviously, you won't be disappointed. Cheers Geoff Bilston, West Midlands.

I think a Roland 100W Bass cube 12" combo would suit you down to the ground.

Reduced to £625 In excellent condition and in perfect working order. Part of the famed "JV" (Japanese Vintage) series of instruments produced from 1982-83 by the then newly formed Fender Japan, this Jazz Bass boasts the same USA-made pickups that were also used in the Fullerton factory Fender reissues. A bass that will satisfy collectors and serious players alike. Weighing in at 4kg (8.8lbs) - lightish for a jazz. Theres a strong fundamental attack and acoustic resonance to this bass, and it's an instrument capable of great versatility. Roundwound 45-105 strings fitted. Slender 1 1/2" nut width. The thick slab rosewood fretboard boasts original slender vintage-style frets which are still in decent shape but showing light wear obviously. The bass plays cleanly and has responsive truss rod. On the headstock, the original reverse geared chrome tuning machines with clover buttons are intact, with the exception of a Fender Drop D' de-tuner replacement for the 'E' string - brilliant. I'm sorry I don't know where the original one is. It has a Pre-CBS style Jazz Bass logo, but I don't think its the original. Great feel, great warm balanced tone across the strings throughout. Welcome to try out before you buy - you wouldn't be disappointed. Good quality soft carry case included. Price reduced Geoff Coseley, West Midlands

Perfect. No issues other than few minor scratches on top. Includes rack ears. Haven't bothered to write sales pitch so copied info off web. Will post at buyers expense. Welcome to organise your own shipping also. Welcome to test here. Cheers. The Markbass Little Mark II is a stunning bass amp head that combines great sound, compact size, and light weight. The Little Mark II is Markbass' biggest seller and it's the flagship amp of the Markbass line. Its small size makes the Little Mark II easy to transport, yet with a 4-band EQ, VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) and VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter), its tone is nothing short of professional. The I/O includes an input that can handle both passive and active basses and an extra XLR balanced input for double bass pickups. Its Neutrik Speakon Combo out jacks work with 1/4" or Speakon speaker cables. A tuner out jack sends unbalanced signals to a tuner, amp, or recording equipment. Send and return effect jacks maintain your main signal even if something dies in your effects chain. For 2 years in a row, Little Mark II has been voted Best Bass Head by the readers of Bass Player Magazine. It also placed 3rd in poll's Best Value category. FEATURES

Solid state preamp analog bass head
Provides 300W RMS at 8 ohms, 500W RMS at 4 ohms
1/4" input jack works with active or passive basses
Balanced XLR on front for double bass pickups
Gain and Master volume controls
Clip warning light
EQ includes controls for Low, Mid Low, MId High, and High
VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) and VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter) filters
Neutrik Speakon Combo out jacks for use with 1/4" or Speakon speaker cables
Balanced XLR out
Ground lift switch to eliminate hum
Tuner out sends unbalanced signal sent to a tuner, amp or recording equipment not needing a balanced signal
Effect Send and Return maintain signal even when effects fail
Dual-sided fiberglass PC boards with lined perforations for high-quality solder connections
Surface-mount components are silicon-sealed to isolate vibrations
Computer-grade pre-assembled ribbon connector cable harnesses and ribbons for noise-free operation
Integrated threaded posts for easy assembly/disassembly and added durability
500W of bass-kicking power in a small, portable bass head.
