WITHDRAWN Ashdown ABM 210T 300W Compact Bass cab.
geoff90guitar replied to geoff90guitar's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
Cab spec:- Made in the U.K. Ashdown BlueLine drivers with an HF tweeter in a precision tuned plywood cabinet. The cabinet is constructed from high-grade birch ply with properly screwed and glued joints, protected by a tough, buffalo leather cloth covering and chromed metal corners. Special Ashdown-designed metal handles are used in favour of inferior flip handles which can rattle after years of use. Ashdown BlueLine speakers are specially developed to achieve a superb balance of power, transparency and deep, controlled low end, without sacrificing any of the mid-band attack and high-end brightness that are so important in a modern bass sound. Specifications: Power Handling 300W continuous, 600W programme Speaker Configuration 2 x 10" + HF tweeter Frequency Response 75Hz - 20kHz Impedance 8 Ohms SPL 102dB 1W @ 1m H x W x D (mm) 474 x 610 x 335 Weight (kg) 28 -

Well lads, personally I've found these boutique multi-hundred pound cabs very clever and light, if you want to sacrifice your oomph and sound. It's already been invented, you can't beat a real traditional speaker. However, if you've never played with one, you won't miss it. New neo owners will just go round and round and imagine there must be something even better. Still, that's good for business.

Just bought a GB Shuttle 6 from Gary. Nice bloke. I was in a rush for this. Had it delivered next day service, good packaging. Very pleased. I replaced the 12AX7 pre amp valve for an original UK Mullard ECC83 from my collection of valves. Great tone now and around 15% more power. Very pleased,...probably for about 6 months knowing me. Good comms, I recommend him.

I've confused one or two members with the ad. I removed the amp lid to show that there hasn't been any faults, alterations, transformer change bla bla to prove everything is original - you don't always know what youre getting inside. I cut a rectangular piece out of the case directly above the amp vent purely for air flow, else obviously the amp would have heat problems. - I wonder how many guys have got there AG500's in a 2U case without a cut out and rely on a very thin gap in the fixing for air, assuming that the fan is enough for cooling -

Reduced to £325 INCLUDING SHIPPING/POST UK 500w. into 4 ohms. Excellent working order and great condition other than the Standby 'blue LED doesn't light, but of course standby on/ off function works. (I've noticed various amps have the blue light syndrome, perhaps they should use a different colour!) Mains light is fine. Made in Manhattan. I've cut out a rectangle in the flight case directly above the amp vent for ventilation. The case is still effective.
