1. Ashdown ABM 4 switch f/switch. Valve, EQ, Compression, Sub Octave. Brand new, just opened to show what's inside. £4 postage mainland UK
 2. Model 410T. Excellent working order. Cab is 8 ohms, either link up with another 8 or just turn up a little. Brilliant cab. With horn. Buyer to collect from Coseley, West Midlands. Welcome to try before you buy but you won't be disappointed. Geoff
 3. Back of the neck looks orangey. Is it the picture or has it been re-done? Thanks Geoff
 4. Yes apart from a control knob and possibly the bridge because it has kept relatively clean. Pickups have the waxed wiring and the green cap. I tried to put a picture of the pots/ wiring on after I'd posted but it looked daft as first picture. Please mail if you want that picture and anything else you can think of. Cheers Geoff
 5. Black, rosewood fingerboard, tortoiseshell pick guard. Original pickups, guts and finish. Weight around 8 1/2lbs - how they should be for warmth and sustain. Excellent frets. The volume pot is a bit scratchy turning full up but holds the volume - and it is a loud bass. Sorry to see this go but I need to fund the Vanderkleys I've just bought. Plenty of info on the JV's. This is a bargain. Includes hard case.
 6. Hi, I'm between Dudley and Wolverhampton or 5 miles west of J10 M6 Cheers Geoff
 7. The £480 was for two cabs in my original ad, or sold singly for £250. One of the cabs has since been sold. The one shown is for sale @ £250 TC Electronic RS210 with cover. Never abused, nice condition (light natural scuffs due to use and one small tear at the rear of the cover) and always stored inside the house - without catching the door frames when carrying through! £250 Shipped UK mainland

 9. Hi, Am I missing something here? If the decal shows S9........., the S represents seventy and the 9 makes it a seventy- nine. Apologies if I'm wrong. No doubt about it 1982-83 was an excellent year for Fender guitars/basses. Funny, JVs were starting at that time in Japan! Bump on me.
 10.
This is an absolute bargain. UK made. Excellent condition and working order. Thunderously powerful amp with a generous 500+ watts into 4 ohms. The amp is a no compromise design using the best parts available.

The built in toroidal mains transformer is more expensive than laminated stacked type which provides more power on demand without sagging out.

The Pre amp valve circuit adds tone variation and even more woomph. It's a true bass amp with a good balanced volume across the strings.

It looks great on stage and 'feels' right as opposed to the Class D type toys. (Shouldn't say toys, the small amps are a great advancement but.....)

11. Here, here, I've finally settled for one of these. Over the past couple of months I've tried the EBS TD650, TC elec 750' TWO Aguilar TH500's and prefer the AG500 overall - it has a BIG transformer and I think that's where the clout comes from. The AG500 has a creamy American tone, very loud and clear and is a perfect match for my two TC RS210 cabs, which are very warm and require a lot of driving. The cabs were used throughout the comparison. I think people get too excited over new stuff. If I was the Aguilar rep, I would say that the TH500 is better than the AG500, obviously, it's a current model. - only my opinion, you also need a real bass guitar. Just thought I'd give you a jump and a bump.
 12. Going now for £175 which will give me 2 nights B & B in Western Super Mare. Absolute bargain.
 13. Loud, clear and old Trace Watts, yes old Trace Watts. Don't laugh, just as loud as the TH500 through a 400w load. Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't had both together. Although the TH500 was loud and creamy, it didn't have the poke and projection of this old model Trace. TH500 now gone, I'm left with the beast, it's too bloody heavy for me now so it's got to go.

 15. EBS TD650 now £450 collected. Buy the amp and EBS15 for £700 collected. Yes I'm daft.
 16. Fantastic 15" bass cab. Firm, loud and clear. Comes with cover. I've found that the Proline cabs have a much meatier sound across the EQ spectrum and a much tighter bottom end than the neo cabs. My experience I found that the Neos were always a little bass shy and despite their higher power handling. (Thats just me) The slight downside to the Prolines is the weight. My lead guitarist can easily lift this cab into my boot, but you have got two handles and there's not just you in the band making it a doddle to load - it's much easier to take it out alone, and loading up I ask the missus for a hand. Spec from Website: Expert adviceEBS Evolution Pro Line 300 1 x 15" .
