    As some of you may know, the ohmmeter reads 2/3rds to 3/4 of impedance across the speaker terminals. 4ohm typically measures 2.5 -3 ohms. 8 ohms typ reads about 5-6 ohms. This speaker measures 5.4 ohms, which confirms that it was the original speaker from an 8 ohm Trace 1x15 cab. So the speaker is 8 ohm and what a cracker is. Regards Geoff

    Celestion Model B15-300 . Excellent. No tiredness. Little use. It was from a Trace Elliot 15 cab. A big clear sound.
