1. Paul doesn't mess around. He paid me instantly. We had a smooth transaction.I highly recommend this sincere guy for ANY deal.
2. The bass was made just over a year into the production of these Japanese Fender/Squiers. White with tortoiseshell pickguard. Fitted with Fender USA Vintage 62 pickups which suite this 62 reissue bass. I bought this directly from Japan 15-20 years ago in which time I've tried many Precisions but always come back to this one. The truss rod works correctly, the neck and headstock are clean and the frets are in good shape. The G tuner wing is slightly bent but I've left it a lone. The body has bumps and scrapes but no interference with the wood, as I've used it all over the country for many years. It has a big round warm and rocky sound Weight is just above 8 lbs and the overall volume balance across the strings is even. Includes flight case. You are welcome to try/test out here. Geoff Cheers
3. In excellent condition. Superb amp. Welcome to collect.
4. Excellent bass amp. Absolutely no faulty issues. Plenty of power. Say no more. * NOW £265 * Price includes case/manual and shipping UK mainland. You're welcome to test here, near Wolverhampton before you buy, you won't be disappointed. Cheers Geoff
5. Agree with you all. The only thing I can relate to a Fender is how the body wood is joined (generally in three pieces side by side) but probably various are made like this.
6. Looks like the speaker lead is fixed right in but I assume the chassis speaker socket is still there?
7. Scary, now £595. It'll knock spots off any Precision. Bring yours along and compare. Nice hard case with it too.

9. Just bought a TH500 from Nicolas. He lives in France. Comms all the way, delivered in 2 1/2 days. Packed well. I'm very pleased. You've got no problems with this guy. Thanks Nic.
10. I have been asked a few times if I could take the pickups out of the black JV Precision of the same era that needs a refret and swap them with the White one. I suppose I could if someone was serious about this but 1. I don't like messing with them unnecessarily 2. I think the original USA vintage 62 pickup has more clout.
11. I've added a sub folder in the photoshop link called JV family of 4. Again, I don't know how to display it on this page. I've previously sold two of them. I'm left with the White and black Precisions. The White Precision is the one up for sale now. The black one is back in the pantry because it needs a refret.
12. No, I sold them about 10 years ago. I found the ones on now are superior.
13. Yes, Everything original except the pickups which are Fender USA original vintage 62 reissue. Pots, knobs, machine heads, nut, pickguard etc. original.
14. Thanks for that. I've changed it to public so Im hoping it's ok now. Cheers
15. Please see http://s1355.photobu...3?sort=3&page=1 You don't see many in this colour, rather classy. This bass has been with me for the last 15 years or so. At one point, while I had this white JV, I bought two further Precisions from a guy who used to run what is now PMT in Birmingham - a pre CBS and an early 70's. After bum, bum and comparing, this bass came out on top. Every time I've tried something else (we're all looking for the chalice) I always fell back onto this bass. However, it's time to sell. I owe my mom a lot of money since purchasing a pre Ernie recently. Now, as most of you know this is the early series Fender Squier, nothing like Squier guitars today, made generally anywhere. There's plenty of info on the web about the original JV Squier range. Also some of you know that a pristine condition guitar is generally one that is picked up, played for a short while and then put back under the bed because it sounds crap. This bass has been used on many gigs. The marks are rock n'roll, theres no splits it the wood etc. All original except the replaced pickups which are now Fender Original Precision bass 62 USA vintage reissue. The neck has a great feel. Truss rod, tuners, frets and controls are fine. The bass has a thick sound more rocky than Micky Mouse. It's warm with string volume balanced across the four strings no toppy G & D. Weight - a nice 8lbs + 1oz. Reluctant sale and comes with hard case as shown. PS Could somebody kindly open up the main overall picture please, I can't show it? Geoff
