I think we could have a personal taste sub forum, this could go in there along with....
Jazz vs Precision
Ampeg vs Ashdown
Pick vs Fingers
Originals vs Covers
Did I miss anything...
Jokes aside it's threads like this that got me to take the plunge on flats, and I'm glad I did.
Within 30 seconds of looking, impressions I get..............super clean, easy to navigate and obvious you guys know what you are doing.
In a world where band websites can often be pretty naff, looks great to me.
The B&W p3s are good. Little bass light maybe. I have the sennheiser momentums, awesome cans. Really open with enough kick for my taste.
They have just announced the urbanite range which might be worth a look as well..

The cheaper akg headphones get great reviews if your budget is a bit tighter
The blue looks great mate, glad you decided to keep it for now!
The gold lifts it nicely and it's different. Different is good!
Looking forward to your next build.

I often find that engineers have a default 'roundwound' approach to EQing bass at source and in the mix, which kills the magic of flats.

This^
You could also replace engineers with "garageband presets"

Yup, on both mine, best way
Means I can palm mute without worrying about pushing the saddles around.

There's no "versus" about it.
Two entirely different strings that sound and feel different. Depending on how versatile you need to be sometimes you need flats, sometimes you need round wounds, sometimes you need tape wounds.
It's a bit like the fingers versus pick argument. The versatile player uses whichever is the most appropriate for what they are trying to achieve.

Nailed it.....
Love and use both. Flats on a Precision make me feel funny inside.
